1 Radio/tape Cd Player problem of the 2016 GMC Yukon

Failure Date: 02/20/2020

Water leaked into the vehicle's roof mounted antenna. This condition prevented the vehicle's onstar system from accurately determining the vehicle's location; disabled the vehicle's compass, navigation, and xm radio systems; illuminated the vehicle's red onstar indicator; and allowed water into the interior driver compartment. This condition occurred in both the stationary and in motion states. Gm issued product bulletin # 15155 for 2015 model year for the same issue, but did not correct for 2016 model year. Issue related to replacement of part # 23258460. This part was redesigned for 2017 model year to eliminate the design defect by relocating the moisture weep hole on the base gasket from the rear to the front to accommodate the roof slope.

While driving with the navigation system actively navigating the destination path, the center console display screen turns to a black screen with no navigation features. The console randomly reboots and must restart. This failure mode can cause extremely hazardous driving conditions by delaying the drivers ability to follow the correct route. 3 Radio/tape Cd Player problem of the 2008 GMC Yukon

Failure Date: 07/29/2017

My 2008 Yukon has had an electrical mystery for awhile now. When you open the doors the "chime" will be very faint and then the next time it's very loud. The clock resets like the battery has been disconnected after shutting the car off. The door locks will lock and unlock by themselves will I'm driving. I can turn the car off after driving it and it will be completely dead. It wont do anything. You can't lock the doors, turn on the radio, start the car or anything. Almost like it doesnt have a battery at all. Wait 10 minutes or so and slam a few doors and it starts right up. We've replaced batteries, alternators, fuses and taken it to mechanics with no luck. After replacing the battery it will work for several months and then it will do it again. There has to be a short somewhere and after googling it there are 1000 of people having the same problems. We had problems since we purchased the car in 2017 and I'm positive the owner before me had the same issues.

4 Radio/tape Cd Player problem of the 2006 GMC Yukon

Failure Date: 04/21/2016

Roof has constant leak when it rains. It leaks through the front side on dashboard/radio, and through dvd player located on roof. We have to cover vehicle each time we hear it is going to rain. I have seen there are millions of other drivers with Yukons with this same problem. Checking to see if this would be an issue GMC would resolve for owners of these vehicles? thank you for your time.

5 Radio/tape Cd Player problem of the 2004 GMC Yukon

Failure Date: 09/02/2007

The entire audio system in my 2004 GMC Yukon has no audio. The lights are on so it appears that it should be working. You can turn the volume completely up and get no sound. The am/fm radio does not have sound nor does the xm radio or my on star. If you stop the car, put it in park, turn off the ignition, open the drivers door, close the door, put the key back in and restart the car, it will sometimes restart the radio (reboot the system). The dealership has been unable to determine the cause. This has occurred multiple times.

Then, while exiting a parking lot, the vehicle shifted from drive to neutral on its own. The indicator still read drive, but would not go. He stated the steering column did register that the vehicle was in drive, and when driving over a bump, it shifted into neutral. The vehicle was taken to the dealership, they contacted the manufacturer, and they stated tissues normal. The dealership stated they adjusted cables, but the work order he received showed that nothing was done. The driver side mirror wasn't holding, it would fold.
