One problem related to engine cooling system has been reported for the 1999 Honda Accord. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Driving down the road when the crankshaft pully fell out of the bottom of the engine, resulting in power steeering failure and engine died. The power steering went out, the altenator quit, the water pump quit. Luckily I could coast into a parking lot entrance to get off of the highway. The crankshaft bolt "crystalized" and broke off inside the crankshaft. The timing belt, crankshaft pully and bolt, and the water pump had to be replaced.
