One problem related to engine knocking noise has been reported for the 1999 Honda Accord. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
A banging noise from the engine and a vibration are experienced every time when I start the engine. This is a design defect, since the dealer let me test drove several new Honda cars in stock and every 1999 and 2000 year new Honda Accord lx has this problem. This is dangerous because noise and vibration loose screws and connections for the long run. Some of thousands of screws and connections in a car may drop out some day and cause accident.
