One problem related to manifold/header/muffler/tail pipe has been reported for the 1999 Honda Accord. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Exhaust pipe runs directly under oilpan plug. Everytime oil is changed some oil comes into contact with exist pipe causing smoke. Oil tends to burn off after a week or so of driving. I think this presents a potential fire hazard.
