1 Steering Gear Box Shaft Pitman problem of the 1998 Honda Accord

Failure Date: 12/28/2000

This vehicle has been in the taken back to the dealer 4 times in a month and a half. The car shakes at high speeds and at idle (dealer says unbelivable shake is normal). When vehicle is driven for long periods of time it starts to vibrate and hesitate at high speeds the car becomes very hard to drive in the steering wheel, the whole suspension of the car is not secure. The brakes on the car have also been fixed or checked 4 times - it is very hard to break. Their is also a very hesitation in the engine when changing gears. It feels like there may be a transmission problem or an engine mount problem. The tires were replaced with used tires because manufacturer said that there was a flat spot on the tires. I was told that they were replacing the bad tires with new good tires (hoping that all the problems I was having was due to just the bad tires) they replaced them with used tires and didn't balance and align them (this is on the forth visit to the dealer). The problem is still there and getting worse. (dot number: m3ta tiresize: 195/65r15).
