1 Engine Clicking And Tapping Noises problem

Failure Date: 07/09/2019

I purchased a 2017 Honda brand new from my local dealer on 9/28/2017 I had the oil changed as required . A few months ago I had a oil change done at the dealer at the same visit they did a fuel injection software upgrade. Since the upgrade my engine runs very rough when first started this never happened be fore the upgrade. The reason for the upgrade was that there was gas getting into the oil causing the oil level to rise which stated in the owners manual can cause engine damage. Today I listened to my engine and the ticking noise is getting much loader than when I purchased the car . Iam very concern that there is engine damage its seems that Honda is in no hurry at all fixing the problem and when they do its going to be to late and the engine will be ruined.

Alarm will go off randomly. Clicking lock/unlock on the key fob does not turn the alarm off. Inserting the key into the door was the only way to turn the alarm off. The message "keyless start system problem" was displayed on the dash when I entered the car. I turned my car on, but when trying to turn the car off, there were clicking noises, the dash flickered repeatedly, and the car would not turn off. It took about 15 minutes of clicking the push start/stop button to get the car to turn off. It was towed to Honda (tow truck driver had trouble getting the car onto the bed because all of the safety braking features were randomly activating) and Honda replaced some wiring and said I was good to. Two days later the car wouldn't start. Had it towed to Honda again and they said it was a bad battery. They replaced the battery and sent me on my way. The next day the alarm went off again, same issue with not being able to turn it off, and the same keyless start system problem was on the dash. I started the car, then turned the car off, went into the house, and the alarm went off again 15 minutes later. I disconnected the battery and will take it back to Honda tomorrow. Note, when I popped the hood to disconnect the battery, the electricity turned back on in the car by itself. I now suspect the electricity is turning on by itself and after sitting idle for a while the alarm activates.

3 Engine Clicking And Tapping Noises problem

Failure Date: 03/16/2018

Driving highway speed. Suddenly vehicle begins to violently hesitate and then slows and will not accelerate (more than 10 mph). Indicators read that all systems have failed. Pulled over and shut vehicle down. Would not restart. Called emergency roadside assistance for towing to dealership. Was told by dealer that Honda stated it is a common issue in cold weather (I live and purchased the vehicle in northern WI - lame excuse. Whey sell them here if they don't work in the cold). The dealership replaced the fuel injectors and various other engine parts. I also had to have the satellite radio receiver replaced (it burnt out). There was fuel in the engine oil. All this with less than 4,000 miles on the 2017 Honda Cr-v. No longer have confidence in the vehicle. It runs now, but the engine is much louder with a noticable clicking noise that wasn't there when I first purchased the vehicle. I was planning a maiden voyage from WI to seattle, wa (to visit elderly mother who lives there) but lost confidence in the vehicle's reliability. What is my fix for this? dealership balked at the suggestion of replacing the vehicle with another one. Overall, I think this is a dangerous issue to have an automobile completely fail in traffic. Limping off the roadway at a maximum possible speed of 10 mph in highway traffic conditions is a recipe for disaster and the makings for possible fatal consequences. Honda should be looking seriously into this issue and not making lame excuses like this happens to the Cr-v in cold weather (bullshit). They should also be providing compensation to owners who purchased these lemons in good faith expecting the dependability of a brand new vehicle, paying (in my case) at least $29,000. 00 for that expectation and not ending up with something that dumps fuel into the engine oil and threatens the safety of me and my (3) passengers at the time.

4 Engine Clicking And Tapping Noises problem

Failure Date: 10/01/2017

Vehicle: 2017 Honda crv touring - 5 miles when purchased on 05/01/2017 - 2,000 miles when I first noticed there was a problem. I am at about 6,000 miles now. Initially I noticed a clicking sound emanating from the engine get louder over time. Additionally, in the winter, heat took a long time to come on. I was following a crv forum (hondacrvowners. Com) and noticed a lot of people start mentioning fuel in the oil. Then saw news articles about a huge crv recall in china's cold climate areas with the same symptoms. I then began checking the oil frequently and noticed a definite fuel smell on the dipstick and rising above the full mark. I have not noticed a fuel smell in the cabin, fortunately, as some have complained about, but this is not good for an engine. Two Honda dealers have told me they are aware of the issue, but not to worry about it and to check the oil since no lights are on and scans show no problem. Of course! no problems yet, but most drivers don't check their oil and won't notice a problem until the engine completely fails and puts the occupants' lives in danger.

5 Engine Clicking And Tapping Noises problem

1:l. S suspension is making clunky noise for long time. This problem was on and off but now its continuously making noise while I drive to a bumpy or small broken road. 2:engine was making roaring noise then I follow up with dealer with my recall notice. I don't know they fix it or not but still making this noise. 3:smell solid fuel/gasoline from the exhaust system. Full tank gas giving me only 178 miles range but I'm not able to drive 150 miles even. I always take the silver gasoline which is $38 dollars for the full tank. Sometimes more and more this is the biggest problem of car and my financial. I think my fuel is leaking and this could be something else. Credit karma showing me I have 3 open recalls which is one of them. But I didn't receive any mail any email or notification from them.
