I have gas mixing with the oil. I took it to Honda and they really recommended a early oil change. Two weeks later I have more gas in the oil. I never drive the car less than 20 miles at a time. The oil is above the plastic on the dipstick and onto the metal portion. The vehicle only has 20,000 miles on it. Honda's told me they would give me the extended warranty six years unlimited mileage. I want the problem fixed before it ruins my engine. If there's too much oil in the engine this could trigger a engine shutdown. That could be a hazardous condition. If the engine shutdown in heavy traffic this could become a life or death situation.

The ignition is keyless. I pressed to turn off the engine and it shut off. But I forgot to shift into park. I exited the car. The car started rolling backward. I ran back to it, jumped in and shifted to park, stopping the car. If I hadn't noticed and stopped the car, someone might have been hurt. When you stop the engine, there should be an automatic shift to park or an automatic activation of the emergency brake.
Honda oil dilution - driving the car on the interstate and the engine light came on and the engine shut off. Pulled over and restarted the car. Drove 2 miles and engine shut off again. Pulled over started car drove 100 ft and engine shut off and everything including wheels locked up. Car taken to Honda dealer and they state that the engine running on 3 cylinders because spark plug fowled up. Replaced spark plug. Picked up the car drove it 300 miles and engine stuttered, did not shut off and blue smoke plumes came out of exhaust. Shut the car off and blue smoke went away, did not drive the car for one week. Drove car 100 miles on interstate, engine light comes on and engine shuts off. Pull over. Restart the engine and was able to drive 50 miles to the same Honda delear for the first time repair. Mechanic tells me that the oil case was 1/2 quart too much. Sound like oil dilution issue.

My car is having electrical issues with the Honda sensing. Braking on its own at random times at various rates of speed. The most serious on the highway at speed of about 75 mph. The car shut down and the computer systems had all kinds of codes of system failures. Also now we are having an issue of oil dilution due to gasoline. My oil was changed a few days later still over the full line and fumes of gas evident. Talking with Honda dealership currently where purchased and Honda corporate case was filed. So far they are down playing it in texas dispite numerous consumer complaints and commonality of issue being reported at the dealership level.
Once while moving the car to wash it, started it dis-engaged the electronic parking brake, shifted into reverse and the car shut off. The engine was cold. The second time started the car and took a twenty minute,10 mile trip to costco. 30 minutes later started the Cr-v, again dis-engaged the electronic parking brake, shifted into reverse and the vehicle shut off, the car was warm. Took the car to Honda and they found nothing wrong, but changed the engine oil with only 2381 miles on the odometer.
