103h tire so after I get the car from dealership, the next week I had a sign or tire low pressure by the dashboard and I start checking everyday and I figured out that is specifically is by the driver side tire is low pressure. First I took it to discount tire to see and they said I don't see any flat tire or any issues and he pump them all and tried to balance them . But still the sign in the dashboard so I decided to take it to dealership and they said maybe only the dashboard computer and they fixed it and was not showing that day as the sign went from temps setting. Next day I have the sign again pops up and I scheduled second appointment with the Honda west dealership to check entire tire. They did and said we didn't see anything wrong and we fixed it again in the dashboard. I went home and next day same issue again the dashboard sign shows low pressure and also the tire itself went low pressure was not balanced everytime they blow air on it and goes low again in few minutes. I bring it again for third time and the worse sinario is that the mechanical agent touch something in the engine and the oil explodes all over the engine areas causing leak and smoke all over and oil splashed everywhere inside and outside and I have videos and photos.
Hankook 235/60 r18 103h a few months ago, one of my hankook tires had a flat tire. At the tire shop, I was told my 3 remaining tires would need replacement soon as well. My car's odometer at this time was roughly 21,000 miles. The tires are originally the tires from purchase of the new car. I then went to a Honda dealership for further inspection. I was told that my remaining 3 tires were in "yellow" status and could be replaced at a later service date. Today, may 3, 2025, I went to the Honda dealership to change my 3 remaining tires. Despite making an appointment, they didn't order the tires I had requested. So, I then went to another tire shop. Upon removing my tires, one of the employees called me over and told me I had a defective tire. My car is now around 23,500 miles. I don't know why the service center at the Honda dealership didn't alert me about the defective tire. I called hankook when 1st tire had a flat. A representative told me that no warranty would cover this. The Honda dealership also told me that they couldn't assist with this. I needed to call the manufacturer or check my warranty.

235/60r18 service bulletin 20-081 October 8 2020 after only 16000 miles and a trip to the dealership I advised that the wear and tear of every tire was different and need attention. I ask why the difference between the wear they suggested check the vehicle for problems with the suspension, nothing was found. I ask for replacement under warranty I even showed the service bulletin from Honda mentioned at the top of this page , they ask me to contact the tire manufacturer witch I did, the manufacturer told me since I didn't purchase the tires directly from them warranty was denied, I went back to the manufacturer Honda file a case which they denied because they didn't think my case fits the service bulletin from them. At the end I make the expense to replace the tires , what makes a huge difference in the handling of the vehicle. Case# 13736110 with Honda.

Driving on the freeway home from work, in the middle lane, heard a loud bang then thudding and pulled over and my tire was almost flat with big hole in the sidewall blew out. After replacing with spare tire, saw 2 other smaller holes / slits where the sidewall blew out. Called bridgestone manufactuer and they said this make model had a recall but not size did not have a recall or defect reported and there were not any replacement offerings.
We have had 3 yokohama geolander cv go58 tires fail over the course of two months. Two were from the purchase in 2020, one was a replacement for one of the 2020 tires that failed in July 2022. One just failed this evening, August 17, 2022. The tires are not just deflating, they are shredding with little advance notice. The tire pressure gauge comes one and within moments the tires begins to shred. The size of the tire is 215 70 16. My daughter is driving this vehicle in dallas, texas and we are concerned that these tires are bad.
Purchased brand new Honda 2018 and it came with hankook 235/60r18 kinergy gt h436 bw at 30,000 miles all 4 tires need to be replaced. Honda manufacturer and dealer confirmed that this is a known issue. I contacted hankook manufacturer and was told that although the 235/60r18 kinergy gt h436 have a 70,000 mile warranty, the 235/60r18 kinergy gt h436 tires that come with the new car are designed to only last 30,000 miles out of the usual 70,000. Hankook deliberately engineered their tires to fail at 30,000 putting my life and the life of my family in danger in order to generate a profit. When purchasing my new car I was under the impression (based on the hankook manufacturer's website) that my new tires would be covered by the 70,000 mile warranty and would thus last more than just 30,000. All my other new cars, the tires lasted well over the warranty that they initially came with. This is the first time that I have ever experienced this. This clearly has nothing do to with my driving pattern, considering that the manufacturer confirmed that they engineer new car tires to fail at 30,000 miles.

A Honda 2019 Cr-v ex 2wd was purchased in March of 2019 and came with oe hankook kinergy gt 235/60r18 h436 tires. The dot# 5m3v1bh5018 (one tire) and 5m3v1bh5118 (three tires). The vehicle was garage kept and most of the mileage driven was within the state of tennessee. All four tires were rotated every 5,000 miles and balanced every 10,000 miles by the Honda dealership that sold the vehicle. A multi-point inspection was performed every 5,000 miles that included steering, braking, struts, and suspension components with no issues found. Tire pressure was monitored by both the owner and dealer during routine maintenance. Road noise began after the 12,000-mileage maintenance and could be seen as uneven tire treadwear. At 15,000 miles the dealership performed a four-wheel alignment to correct the problem, but the noise continued and became more pronounced at higher speeds. It became difficult to hold a conversation or listen to the radio without turning up the volume. By 23,000 miles it became apparent that the inside and outside tread on all four tires had become scalloped. The dealership confirmed the diagnosis and recommended new tires. They stated that continuing to drive with the cupped tire tread was not a safety issue. In contrary, most retail tire or automobile repair websites universally agree that driving with scalloped tires is dangerous. The decreased amount of tire tread to road contact causes reduced traction and increased braking distances, on wet driving surfaces and in emergency situations. The dealership service advisor also shared information that hankook uses substandard material in the manufacturing of their oe tires leading to premature wear and possible failure. How does this tire justify a treadwear rating of 540 and mileage warranty of 70,000 miles when an entire set of four tires became useless and unsafe at 15,000 miles?.
235/55/p19 tire blew ou,t and split on edge of tread at 65 miles an hour about all way around between tire tread and sidewall.
I purchased cooper evolution tour tires (dot u92y vn 1820, size 225/65r17) on August 10, 2020. Since then, I've only put 16,000 miles on them. I've been consistently losing air and recently brought them into my dealer for inspection, and they located a bulge in the sidewall in all four of my tires. (I have pictures of each of the buldges as marked by the dealer. ) they told me it was a manufacturer's defect and to contact cooper tires. Cooper tires has a recall out for the same type of tire, only an earlier model, with the same exact defect: recall no. 19t-024 on cooper evolution tour dot u9 40 1lt 3019. (dated Dec. 2019. ) when I contacted cooper customer service, they said no recall for my model exists, and I'd have to get replacements under the warrantee, costing me an additional $350. If these tires have the same defect as the earlier model, they should be recalled immediately. I've been driving around on four bulging sidewalls and risking a crash as indicated by recall no. 19t-024, all of which they recognized enough to recall their earlier model. Attached is the print out from the dealer with the estimate to replace the tires with my road hazard warrantee through them, and pictures of where they marked the sidewall bulges on each tire. (rear passenger, front passenger, driver passenger, driver rear. ).

Hankook kinergy gt 235 / 60 r 18 130h the driver's side front tire burst on 12/24/2021. The tire split, almost like a re-tread (see pictures). I suspect a sidewall structure/reinforcement failure. This could/should have caused a rollover like the tire failures and accidents of Ford explorers and other light trucks/SUV's fitted with firestone radial atx, atx ii, and wilderness tires in the late 90's and early 2000's. Pacific Honda dealer replaced the tire and disposed the detached and burst tire on 12/28/2021. When the tire burst on highway, I barely managed to pull over to the left side since it was pulling in various directions, so my safety was at risk. There was no warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure.
I had one tire on this vehicle which had 3 times where the tire became flat. The first two flats were fixed and then when the third flat happen, the dealer said the tire could no longer be fixed. These tires were purchased at costco. I have never had a tire have more than one flat.
My car skidded and failed to stop in acceptable distance/time in one inch of snow nearly causing me to collide with pedestrian in roadway. I was alarmed that this had happened and asked my mechanic to evaluate any braking defects. I was informed my tires were worn to 4/32nd and thus had little tread left to grip road surface. Mechanic noted all alignments and rotations were timely performed by owner of vehicle . I was shocked because vehicle is a 2018 Honda crv with 18000 miles . These tires are rated for 50000 miles or 6 years. You can image my shock that tires wore out so fast and driving vehicle in security is now questionable. Tier manufacturer hankook is denying tire defectiveness even though Honda dealership has proved hankook liable as no vehicle defect is discovered. I ask your organization to examine this tire for faulty manufacture and notify consumers that tire is unreliable.

Tires slips in rain and car had only 15000 miles when it first happened. Went to bill page Honda dealership where I purchased my 2017 Honda cr v, they said tires are worn out and will need replacement soon. I contacted bridgestone and they said we don't warrant any warranty on dealership cars that are equipped with their tires. Now I've already replaced 2 tires only at 30k miles. These tires should at least last 50k miles.

I have a 2014 Honda crv with 21,751 miles. I always have had service by Honda regularly and never had any problems. I was not due for service for another month when I had a flat tire due to a nail. I went to get the tire fixed when I was told by the tire dealer that all 4 tires were dry rotted. I was skeptical because the car was just 2 years old on oct. 30, 2015. I took it to a friend who is a mechanic and asked him about "plugging" my tire just to see if he would say anything about the tires being dry rotted. He took the tire off and kept examing it, then started looking at the other tires then he said all four tires have dry rot. He suggested 4 new tires and he does not sell ttires. I called the Honda dealer but he did not get back to me until later that day. I called continental and was directed to one of their dealers. I was told it was not a big deal and they would only pro rate the tires not replace them for free. I told continental why would I want the same tires on my car again? that's like lettiing the dog bite you in the butt!. Needless to say I ended up buying 4 new tires (different brand) at the cost of $520. 86. VIN # 2hkrm3h36eh510942.

This vehicle started showing premature wear at 20000 mi on tires and cupping of tires now have 31000 mi and have to be replaced. Very sad.
Cupping on outermost tread groove producing roaring road noise. 2011 Honda Cr-v with 15,626 miles as of 8/9/13. Tires rotated at 7500 and 15000 miles, only seems to be happening on rear.
Unusual wear (interior edge cupping) and noise developed on the right-rear tire during the first two years of ownership (purchased new - January 2011) resulting in an unsafe tire condition. Mechanic (using computer alignment method) discovered that camber alignment was not within the specified range, however, there is no camber adjustment option on the vehicle. Without the proper camber alignment, tire destruction (in this case interior edge cupping) occurs resulting in an unsafe tire condition. An after-market part is available to provide the necessary camber adjustment, however, it is not a Honda oem part and Honda does not acknowledge responsibility related to the issue. A vehicle should have routine adjustment mechanisms to avoid destruction of parts which creates an unsafe condition without having to replace an original oem part to accommodate a necessary (and Honda recommended - vehicle alignment) adjustment.
I went to firestone to have my car serviced and was told that I need to start thinking about new tires.
