I am the owner of a 2010 Honda Odyssey lx, . Two of the tpms transmitters are now leaking around the stem, causing low tire pressure. Is there a recall of these transmitters? the information on the transmitters from one that was replaced trw 42753-shj-a820-m1 315 mhz 217652-110 >ppa-gf33< 8d06923a 2399t it is very concerning that a device meant to warn of a hazard is actually causing a hazard, especially since we are forced to have these devices on our cars.

Bought the Odyssey 2011 exl and drove for 100 miles. Then the tpms lights came on and stayed on for ever. Taken an appoint with Honda service and they would like to adjust the tyre pressure. Still need to take it to the dealer and see what they say.
Tpms light came on on my way home from the dealership. It is still on and will not go off.
There seems to be an interference between using a bluetooth phone when paired with the vehicles hands free link system (hfl) and the tire pressure monitoring system (tpms). Vechicle was brand new off the truck (only 4 miles on it) and as soon as my iphone 4 was paired with the vehicles hfl system, the tpms failed. I've researched online forums and am seeing a growing list of owners reporting the same issue.
Bought the Odyssey 2011 exl and drove for 5 miles from the dealor when the tpms lights came on and stayed on for ever. Taken an appoint with Honda service and they would like to adjust the tyre pressure. Another dealter would like to reset the whole sensor settings. By talking to them, I felt that they are not much aware about this frequent issue.
Purchased 2011 Honda Odyssey on 3/19. Upon leaving the dealership the tpms (tire pressure monitering system) light illuminated and stayed on. Stays on even with engine restart. Tire pressures were above door post recomendations. Dealer requires return of the vehicle for inspection.
Tpms system on 2011 Honda Odyssey touring elite is defective leading to tpms system shutdown.
I purchased a brand new 2011 Honda Odyssey touring elite 4 weeks ago. As I drove home from the lot my tpms (tire pressure monitoring system) light came on and stayed on. I immediately drove back to the dealer service center. Initially they thought it was just tire pressure but quickly realized it was an actual error of the tpms system. One of the techs said he has seen this on one other 2011 Odyssey and that it is triggered by Smart cellular phone interference. He told me it would probably happen again if I used my cell phone in the van. So they reset the tpms error and I turned off my cell and drove for 30 minutes with no issues. So then I turned my cell phone on, and still no issues for another 5 minutes. Then my wife called and at the exact moment my cell phone rang the tpms went into error again. So the service center tells me this is something they can't fix. They are waiting for a fix from Honda. When I submitted the case to Honda corp customer care they say that this is not a "known issue" and that they are not actively working on a resolution for it. When tpms error occurs the tpms system is completely disabled automatically by the vehicle computer. Therefore, my van currently does not have tpms protection. I just spoke with my dealer service center again and they tell me they now have 5 reports of this same problem on 2011 Odyssey elites.
The contact owns a 2005 Honda Odyssey. The contact took the vehicle to an authorized dealership for a routine tire rotation when the left front and rear tire locked broke in half. The dealer had to cut the bolt and nut. The contact called the manufacturer who stated that the vehicle was not longer under warranty and would not assist further. The current and failure mileages were approximately 80,000.

Tpms warning light remains on. After 6 visits to the Honda dealer and multiple diagnosis, still unresolved and the light will not go off. Tpms sensor has been changed twice on two different wheels, system reset and the warning light comes back on with a few days or 100 miles and will not go off. Dealer has no idea why this gov. 't mandated system will not work. Please advise.

Complaint with michelinâ® paxâ® system run-flat technology: 235-710r 460a 104t. I have to replace the tires a 2nd time in only 45k miles. They wear too fast. Extremely expensive. I was never told by Honda I would have these issues. I have no other options but to purchase the same tires again. Something needs to be done by either Honda or michelin. I know I am not alone with this issue.

Pax tires on Honda Odyssey. They quickly wear out, and cost $1300 to replace. The only source for the tires is the Honda dealer -- no other vendors available. If we replace the wheels with non-pax parts we will have constant computer warnings while driving because the tire pressure monitor will register "0 psi" tire pressure. Tires specs provided by this website (width, rim, etc) are not compatible with numbers from tires. Tires say "energy lx4 radial xse 235-710 r460a 104t pax" none of these facts were disclosed by the dealership when we purchased the car.
Owner purchased new snow tires, new wheels, and new tpms sensors. The 2007 Odyssey does not recognize the new sensors. The computer controller memory only has memory for four sensors. The owners manual does not state this limitation. Honda should send notice out to owners stating that the when purchasing new tpms sensors must be reprogrammed and/or reprogram the controller at no charge when needed for seasonal tire changes.
The valve stem apparently developed a crack and the tires (2) lost pressure almost immediately tires had approximately 30,000 miles and were placed on the vehicle 1. 5 years ago (December 2006).

The indicator light for low tire pressure comes on when ever the temperature drops below freezing. It goes off after the tires have heated up, then comes on and off at irregular intervals. The dealer checked it a couple times and finally said to just ignore the indicator. Why have an indicator that is just to be ignored?.
The contact owns a 2002 Honda Odyssey. The vehicle has american platinum (t-rated) premium edition tires. The contact purchased the tires in June of 2005. She stated that the tires fail to remain balanced. On October 3, 2005 at 68,785 miles, the vehicle received a front end alignment and the tires were balanced and rotated. After leaving the dealer the same day, the steering wheel began to shake and bounce repeatedly while driving 57 mph. He returned to the dealer to have the tires rebalanced. The vehicle was taken in again on October 24, 2006 to have the tires rotated and balanced at 73,120 miles. The dealer stated that the front driver side tire bands had failed and they replaced the tire. There is no mileage warranty on the tires. The vehicle was then taken to Honda for an alignment. Honda measured the road force on the tires and found that all four wheels were out of balance. Two out of the four tires had excessive road force. All four tires were balanced and rotated and the two rear tires were replaced, so that the shaking and bouncing of the steering wheel would cease. The contact stated that the tire did not have a dot number. The current mileage is 84,612 and failure mileage was 68,785.
