Had problems with the brakes for over a year now. Had both front brakes replaced costing about $200. They still squeak when turning the wheel , and sometimes when driving. Also, pant has completely come off the door handles, and there was rust on different spots of the car hood. I had the door handles replaced inside the car because the silver was peeling, causing us to cut our hands, but that didn't cost me anything.

My vehicle was involved in an accident in December 2004, while driving my 2004 Hyundai sonota. Traffice was heavy and a driver, 3 cars ahead, slammed on her brakes as all those behind her did. I had ample time to stop but the anti-lock brakes repeatedly kept turning. My car continued to hit the driver in front of me and my car attempted to climb on the back of the other car. The repetitive hitting of the car in front of me caused extensive damage to my car. The brakes of been checked three times, the light continues to come on at intermittent times, yet the dealership continues to inform me that their is nothing on the diagnostic machine. The brakes continue to act up on dry surfaces still. I am afraid to drive my car but cannot seem to convince the Hyundai dealership that there is an issues with the brakes grabbind and continue to rotate. The impact, from the repetitive hitting of the car in front of me caused it to be totaled. My car, even after extensive frame damage and shifting of the entire motor carriage, was not totalled. It should be also noted that when the insurance carrier had the car delivered to the dealership for motor replacement that they were not advised of brake problems. I was sent to hospital for a checkup as the repetitive hitting caused the seatbelt to cause numbness in my left arm and neck. I was treated and released with a prescription for muscle relaxers for a few days.
While driving wheels locked as if the consumer was jamming the brakes. Transmission was replaced three times, but vehicle slowed down on its own. Then, vehicle accelerated without the pedal being depressed.

Brakes squeal very loud every time brakes are applied. Vehicle has been taken to dealer 3 times, dealer cannot remedy the problem.
Dealership states brakes are normal. They said all Hyundai car brakes makes noise; worked on air bag light - stated it was on due to someone giving a jump in my car, light came back on 3 days later; changed a switch which was causing no acceralation, car still not getting the acceration it should. Now I'm getting some humming noise from the dashboard somewhere. I have had this car 8 month. It is a lemon and jacobs twin continues to put a band-aid on a patient bleeding to death.
Cruise control was activated at 60 mph when applying brakes to avoid an accident, but consumer lost control of vehicle and hit retainer wall head-on. Vehicle still maintained 60 mph, and brakes did not deactivate cruise control. Eventually, vehicle stopped after consumer turned it off. Passenger's side air bag did not deploy/ seat belt did not lock up, and cruise control would not deactivate.

Brakes would not stop the car, the pedal pumped hard five times and then went to the floor, the brakes do not seem to hold in a panic situation, the only thing that stopped me was the car in front of me, this is the second time this has happened to me once resulting in an accident the other time a close call. I do not feel safe in this car and will not allow my wife to drive it and I will not drive this car with my family in the car, the dealer ship said that there is nothing wrong, but I actually was standing there wwhen anothe man complained about the same thing , he only had 1500 miles on his car, a Hyundai, also the counter man assistant service person also told me about another man brought his car in just prior to me. Go figure???.
Alternator went out which made the electrical system to go out. Entire dashboard was not working, also, abs brakes and engine check lights kept blinking. There was an electrical smell. Dealer replaced alternator.
While driving 35 mph braking system malfunctioned, causing no braking ability, and resulting in a crash. Also, airbag deployed, causing the driver to hit the head restraint which flew into the rear seat. Please provide further information.
