: the contact stated while traveling at low speeds the brakes failed causing two accidents. The pedal was depressed to the floor. Both power steering and power brakes failed at the same time in my teenagers Sonata. Fortunately my son was only going around 25 mph at the time and used the parking brake to stop. The Hyundai dealer says there is no connection between the two systems. Is there a NHTSA record of this occurring previously in the Sonata?.

The consumer's Hyundai Sonata developed the following problems: the paint was peeling, the sun roof was broken, the passenger side window was inoperative, the brakes failed, the seatbelt broke, the engine blew up and the air bags failed to deploy. The engine surged. As a result of the engine blowing, the right side disintegrated.
