The vehicle was taken to the dealer where the recall was completed however, the contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the air bag warning light illuminated. Air bag’s light flashing and on. Went to the dealership and was charged 178. 00 and they said that it will cost me additional 937. 86 and no guarantee that my vehicle air bags will be safe for me if there’s an accident . Went to the dealerships on 5/18/23 was the soonest they could get me in.

I wrecked my 07 Infiniti April 29th and not one of my air bags came out and everyone I have talked too and seen my car said there is no way that they should have not deployed.

I was driving my car and heard a loud sound and then my airbags went off. I lost control on my steering and was able to coast the car to shoulder. The airbags deployed even though there was no collision with another car. Under further inspecting it looks as if all the bolts came loose on the drive trane. I have no idea why the airbags went off. I did sustain an minor injury to my hand. Police were called, fire trucks checked for possible fire hazards. I looked for recalls and or air bag malfuctions for this year make and model but did not find any. Had I not been in the far right lane I could have been in a serious accident. The airbags deploying scared me. Both the driver and passenger side airbags went off. I was the only one in the vehicle.

The airbag light keeps blinking. I have had no incidents. I saw that there was an issue with this year model. I would like it covered with the repair.

Flashing light.

In July 2019 the right side curtain airbag deployed while the car was sitting in my driveway. The car was off and not occupied.

The dashboard of the coupe 2005 Infiniti G35 is melting and becomes sticky regardless of cleaning. Today I noticed that the dashboard has become cracked and compromised, which may lead to an airbag issue down the line. Aside, from the airbag, I believe this materials could be hazardous as they must be of low quality to "melt" when it isn't in much sunlight. The vehicle is always garaged every day and has only around 70000 miles. I believe there should be a recall to replace the dashboard. Upon looking at forum and pictures from other Infiniti and Nissan owners, it looks as though I am not alone. Please investigate further.

Lost control of car on ice going 55, car went airborne 70 feet came down hit a truck, car was totaled. Passenger airbag went off but drivers did not deploy, suffered a concussion, hit head on steering wheel.

The car won't back up when it's on reverse, sometimes it won't move at all even when it's on drive.

Takata recall my 2005 Infiniti G35 was not included in the recall of every year prior and after. The car was probably put together in 2005 and should be included in the recall because the alert is now flashing. I never had a problem like this with my older Infiniti. The alert will not turn off. It went off when I drove back from the dealership after spending over $2500 to get it fixed.

Dashboard cracking.

Passenger airbag not active when a passenger is seated. Sometimes it comes "on" on his own while driving. Also the dashboard melt when the car is parked under the sun. Especially here in texas with high temperature. Dashboard cracking with high temperature. Toyota and Mazda fix this for free for their customer but Infiniti wanna charges us for that.

Light of air bag on driver's companion seat turn on and off from time to time, even if no one is sitting on seat. Also multiple cracks were present in the dashboard and were located near the air bag. The contact indicated that one crack extended from the passenger side to the driver side. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired.

2005 Infiniti G35 sedan. Consumer found many problems with car and feels been fooled by dealership. The consumer stated two days, after he purchased the vehicle, he noticed defect. A mechanic confirmed the air bag was not functioning, as the light was flashing, the tires were overly worn, the cd player was not working, the passenger door would not shut properly, the wheels were not aligned and the lower cat shield made a noise.

I have been informed by the orlando Infiniti dealer that "passenger control unit assembly (found passenger side occupant classification control unit failed)" although there is a recall in effect for this exact problem for 2004-2008 Infiniti G35 sedans, Infiniti says my car with this exact problem is not included as a VIN within the recall.

Dashboard is cracking on or near airbags. I park my car in air cooled garages 24/7 and have never applied an products that would dry it out to cause the cracks. I feel the cracks in the dash may affect the airbag deployment and my safety. Please help.

On my way home from work at approximately 10;30pm on a two lane highway I was the second person to hit a horse,. 17 hand horse lying in the road, a person headed north hit and tossed the dead horse in my south lane. 2006 Infiniti G35. Consumer states that he received a recall for the passenger airbag harness and is having difficulty getting the work done. The consumer stated he lives approximately 500 miles from the nearest Infiniti dealer which is out of the way and the other dealership which is a Nissan dealer that is closer had a difficult time getting reimbursed from manufacturer in the past when they performed recall work on Infinities.

The contact owns a 2005 Infiniti G35 coupe. The contact stated that after receiving recall repairs under NHTSA campaign id number: 10v175000 (air bags), the air bag warning lamp illuminated. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer who diagnosed that the passenger side modulator was defective and as a result, the air bag needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure who did not offer any assistance since the vehicle was no longer under warranty. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 45,591 and the current mileage was 54,023.

A safety recall notice was issued on 7-12-10 indicating a potential hazard for the passenger airbag not to activate upon a crash. Apparently a remedy for the problem was identified by Nissan/infinity and was carried out on the vehicle in 2011. Subsequent to that repair I purchased the vehicle from its 2nd owner and in approximately July 2013 the same problem reoccurred. This necessitated my visit to the infinity dealer to both diagnose and repair the problem. Again a remedy was identified by Nissan/infinity but the remedy had changed from the previous one. As the first remedy was part of a recall and paid for through the dealer, I am requesting that the subsequently remedy be subject to another recall or be a continuation of the first recall. I was informed by the dealer that the cost of the remedy was my responsibility since it was not the subject of a 2nd recall,even for the same safety issue. I am at a loss as to why this is not the same ongoing safety issue identified in April 2010, only to be later identified and assigned a different remedy, probably because the initial remedy failed and did so over a relatively short period of time? please clarify.
