The third brake light that sits in the window doesn't not light when brakes are applied when power was attached to the light it worked but not when plugged in to the harness in the car the tail brake lights work however.

My car randomly shuts off when I'm driving. I actually ended up hitting the freeway divider. I need this problem fixed. I have been driving with the car turning off on me since January. The problem has gotten worse.

Audio finisher circuit board has failed causing failure of auto heat and ac control to function causing windows to fog creating an unsafe condition. This is a well documented issue and an extremely expensive repair. This has been addressed for 2003 models with NHTSA 100001246 and NHTSA 100001162, Infiniti should recall the 2004.

Audio "finisher" board shorts out, the radio is compromised but the safety issue is that the heater controls switch to high, and on floor heater vents. Window motors have had to be replaced multiple times. Randomly end up opening for no reason and get stuck in the down position.

My slip light and vct light has came on in my 2003 Infiniti G35 and also the ebrake light and non of them will go offf. I recently hydro planed in the rain due not being able to turn my traction control on abs did nothing to stop my car from loosing traction this would never of happened if my car did not have these problems. Further looking into it they have had made a TSB talking about how the abs and anti wheel lock may malfunction. I was in a 5 car pile up and almost died. If my traction control was able to be turned on witch it wouldn't let me I would not of hydro planed my whole back end just swung forward out of nowhere people though someone in my car pulled my ebrake the way the back end just swung forward. Both the slip light and the vct light remained on along with my ebrake light. I drive my car like a baby and to barley push the gas should not result in my back end swinging forward resulting in completely wreching my car along with 4 other drivers. I feel Infiniti is definitely reliable and should of recalled these parts due to putting people in danger instead of making it a TSB like its not a big deal. I am also not the only one iv found a few people that crashed there car due to rainy wether and the traction control not wanting to turn on. I was on the freeway doing about 60 to 65. If I new Infiniti had so many problems I would not of purchased one 77 bulletins and after reading about all the problems the 2003 had and all the recalled parts I would not of purchased it and put my life at risk. I feel Infiniti should be reliable it's commen sense to know that first hand not fixing those problems would lead to serious injuries and I'm not the only one. Let me know what you think I will be emailing Infiniti to. It may not be a recalled part but it' put me and everyone else on the freeway at risk and totaled my car. The fuel gauge is malfunctioning and showing half full despite the amount of fuel in the tank. Gauge cluster test confirmed this issue. Gauge issue occurs regardless of speed and/or location of vehicle. Test method: hold the trip reset buton and turn the ignition on. Now push the trip button 10 times in about 5sec. This will enter self diag mode. All the needles will drop now push it and hold all the needles should go. Halfway. If the fuel gauge needle sticks then you have your answer.

Nissan campaign id p3104, ref itb03-007 describes exact problem. The VIN number of our car is within range of campaign listed VIN #'s but Nissan insisted today that our car was not covered by campaign. Heat/air temperature controls and radio do not operate. Problem has occurred over past several years intermittently, but now will not function at all. Nissan is refusing to honor their own campaign by saying our VIN # was not covered by campaign even though it is in the range of VIN #'s listed in the campaign.

Third high mount brake light is intermittent possibly creating confusion to driver behind me. This has been an on going problem and has been reported by multiple drivers on G35driver. Com. This happens whether stationary or driving. At times it may appear dull.

Window goes down on its on when try to put it up just comes right down alarm goes on but dnt lock doors dash light cuts off at times when I accelerate vehicle starts off fine 2 seconds later feels like it locks up and just gets sluggish starts running fine come to complete starts and takes off slow lights come on dash vehicle won't start I pull key out ignition put back and starts up fine.

I bought this car new from bommarito Infiniti in ellisville, mo in 2003. I have intermittently had problems with the stereo system and air-conditioning/heater controls working. At this point, the heater is stuck on 90 degrees, controls not working, and also the radio will not work from the console but I can control it from the steering wheel. I have researched this online and see that it is a problem with this car and year but when I called the Infiniti consumer affairs department I was told that this particular part was not recalled on my car but other cars had been affected. This clearly is a ongoing issue with this cars circuit board they should continue their research. I have to say at least it is wintertime in illinois right now otherwise I would be dying of a heat stroke driving this car. . . .

2003 Infiniti G35. Consumer writes in regards to vehicle audio and temperature control system recall issues. It was determined the control was bad. However, the consumer VIN was not included in the recall.

The climate control/ audio control unit in my G35 froze a few weeks ago making the system inoperable. As a result the the front and rear defrosters have become inoperable creating a dangerous driving condition specially in the rain. This is a common issue for all G35s made from 2003 -2005 and Infiniti is very well aware of it. However they have done nothing to address it. Back in 2003 they have done a recall but only to a limited number of cars that had a particular part number. But the truth is every G35 with the oem unit is vulnerable to this issue. In ability to control the defrosters affects the visibility which may cause an accident that may result in injuries and or death.

Had my car in a Nissan dealership for diagnostic for ac problems and was told that my 3rd rear brake light was also out. I was not even aware of this. Then I was told that I could not just replace the bulb, that I would have to buy a complete assembly unit for that and it would run me $287. 00 plus tax!!!!! every time I turn around something is costing me several hundred dollars. This is a safety issue. I just put out over $700. 00 for the a/c, radio finisher circuit board, also not on a recall!.

I was driving on the highway at 55 miles an hour when unexpectedly, the car starts to make some noise then it completely shuts down the motor, the check engine light comes on, vdc off, and slip lights all came on. I tried to restart the car, and only after multiple attempts (about three) did the car start. There is no warning. The auto repair facility ran a diagnostic and the code they got was the cam sensors needed replacing, which cost me $650. They said they have been replacing a lot of these. It's very prevalent. They informed me that the 2003 model of the Infiniti G35 had arecall for the same problem.

I recently bought a 2004 infinity G35x for my daughter. It was disclosed at purchase that the 3rd brake light was out but I figured that was not a dealbreaker, I would get the light fixed easily. Well, I contacted our local infinity dealer and was quoted $480 to replace a 6 led board!! what?? after doing research online I discovered via infinity car forums (g35driver. Com, x. Infinitihelp. Com, nicoforums. Com) that this is an extremely common issue with these vehicles. The oem board is known to be a defective design. This is a federally mandated safety issue! infinity should be made to recall and repair these bad brake lights. It is the law that these lights be there and working. I sincerely hope someone at your branch will take notice of this issue and force the manufacturer to make it right.

I drove to baltimore from DC and back with no issues, then turned to go into the alleyway behind my home. All of a sudden, the steering wheel locked and would not turn and all the lights on the dashboard came on, including the brake light. My brake pad froze midway down, stopping the car, but not budging, even when I tapped the gas pedal. I put on and off the parking brake, to no avail. I tried to move the steering wheel around, but could not. Then I tried to turn off the car and restart it, but it took me three tries. When I restarted the car, the brake pad started functioning normally again and the car has been normal ever since. Additionally, nothing like this has ever happened before.

My problem is with the dash, where the heating controls and the radio controls are. When I am driving, the heater and radio controls just cut out. It gets very dangerous when it is raining, because the windows will fog up, and in the winter it gets very cold. . . . . Updated 04/02/15.

Hello I purchased a 2004 infinit G35 sedan from star max in orlando FL east colonial drive ive only had it 3 days tops , first of all I left and the gas gauge isn't working or the speedometer , also my radio keeps going in and out my left window seems to go up and down when it wants too, my tire pressure lights on and my cars making a very funny roaring noise in the back. Also when I go to make turns ,my wheel just keeps turning on its own and hard to turn back straight it locks up . And I believe there may be a fuel pump issue as well ive spoken to several sales men there and complained saying I need to fix things the right way or I need a different car im paying $325 a month way out of my budget on a buy here pay here car that's not even worth it at this moment in time. Please someone help me I need to do something about this fast!.

It was about a year ago when I first started having issues with my a/c and radio. A/c blows intermittently at what ever temperature and air level it feels like and cannot be adjusted. The radio at the same time cannot be adjusted. The first time this issue happened it lasted for about a week and then it just started working again. Now it is like it has a mind of its own. This is unsafe to drive without being able to use the defroster in the mornings and late at night. Not only is it a safety issue but it is also unhealthy to get a constant full blow of 62 degree air blasting at you when it is 40 to 50 degrees out side. Even though I adjust the vents closed it still blows cold air through them. This seems to be an issue with these cars and cannot understand why Nissan wont take responsibility for this design flaw. I ended up taking my car to the Nissan dealership and had to pay a diagnostic fee, no codes came up. But they are telling me that this is an issue with these cars and the audio finisher circuit board will need to be replaced at a cost of 700. 00. ! there are so many NHTSA complaints about this issue. It is a safety issue if you cannot see out your window, because you cannot work the defroster!.

This vehicle's radio and temperature controls do not work! I can't believe the number of complaints about this issue. I've talked to knowledgeable people about this and all have said that this issue is a bad/defective board. I will never purchase a Nissan or Infiniti product again!.

While driving the car the engine lights come on and the car shuts completely off, no power at all, no control of car at all. I almost had an accident. The car does start again. This has happened two more times since. Very scary. This is a huge safety concern. It happens without notice. I called Infiniti and was told my car was not manufactured at the plant they were calling recalls for. Well excuse me Infiniti your problem is wide spread and extremely dangerous (my infinity case number for this problem * well as my passenger airbag sensor problem they are not willing to address is 15697563). They informed me the airbag sensor was replaced in 2010 - it was not. I have the car-facts to prove this. Infiniti stated to bring my car back to norwood, massachusetts Infiniti for a diagnostic. I will do this this week but sadly expect the same run around I have received before. This car between the two safety issues I have reported above is at extreme crash and injury risk.

I have done some research online. Lots of people are having or have had the same same problem. Very prevalent. As you are driving the down the road the car starts to make some noise then it completely shuts down the motor, the check engine light comes on and does not start once it stops. There is no warning. It takes a while for the sensor to reset -- putting me and my vehicle in harms way. This happened to me on a very busy overpass. The vehicle shut down. I had a hard time steering and getting over out of the way. I was almost hit several times by other cars driving 50 plus mph. I had to have the car towed. Once we got to the auto repair facility. It started again but then shut off. I was googling this symptom and the year, make model (2005 infiiniti G35 engine stall) and this was all over the internet. Several other people were put at risk of injury. I was convinced this was my problem, too. The auto repair facility ran a diagnostic and this was the code they got as well. I already knew what the problem was going to be. So my question is. . . Why has this not been recalled if? it is dangerous. I don't want this to happen to anyone else. Thank god my daughter was not driving.

Ac compressor failure, while car has 88k miles on it. I think it is a premature failure & Infiniti should take responsibility for it.
