1 Crankcase (pcv) problem

Tl- the contact owns 2015 Jeep Cherokee. The contact stated that while driving and when starting the vehicle, it make a rattling noise that was coming from the engine and sometimes it hesitated to drive and will run ruffly. In addition, the contact also stated that the vehicle would accelerate and then decelerated independently. No warning indicator lights illuminated. The vehicle was taken to hemet Chrysler Dodge Jeep ram dealer, (425 motor way, hemet, CA 92545, (951) 225-4217) and was diagnosed and found cylinder ll misfired and low on two quart of oil, cylinder two to be low compression 125 instead of 150. 00 and found 35% of oil leak in crankcase scoop cylinder two wall and found scoring. Removed engine accessory and removed engine from the vehicle and swap over intake manifold and wire on the new engine. The engine was replaced. The vehicle was repaired under warranty. However the failure recurred and was taken back to the same dealer, with the same noised and a new noise occurred that was coming from the engine and was informed that the new noise was because the engine top was loose and the regular noise was normal. The technician informed the contact that once the vehicle was driving the failure would go away. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and provided a case number: 71717548. The failure mileage was approximately 70,000. Aw.
