South oak Jeep Dodge Chrysler ram (4550 Lincoln hwy, matteson, IL 60443, (708) 747-7950) indicated that the repair was covered by a power train warranty to service the engine. The manufacturer later stated that the failure was due to user error. The dealer indicated that the engine assembly needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was notified and did not state if the power train warranty would cover the repair. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 94,000.
