The contact owns a 2007 Jeep Commander 4x4. While driving various speeds over bumps or while parking the vehicle, a squeaky noise was heard coming from the front end. Also, a grinding noise was heard coming from the front and rear of the vehicle while applying the brakes. While driving in the snow or rain and depressing the brake pedal, a clicking sound was heard coming from the pedal as it vibrated. The contact mentioned that it felt as if complete brake pressure was not being applied. During the failures, various warning indicators would illuminate. The vehicle was not taken to an independent mechanic or dealer for diagnostic testing or repairs. The manufacturer was not notified of the failures. The contact researched the failures online and found NHTSA campaign numbers: 09e039000 (suspension) and 07v415000 (service brakes, hydraulic). The VIN was excluded from the recalls. The failure mileage was approximately 35,000.
