The contact owns a 2007 Jeep Commander. The contact stated that his knee would continuously contact the ignition key entry, which was located on the dashboard, and causing the vehicle to completely shut off without intent. The dealer advised him to call the manufacturer and the manufacturer advised him to take the vehicle to the local dealer to determine whether or not the wiring was loose. The vehicle was not repaired or diagnosed for the failure. The current mileage was 43,270 and the failure mileage was 43,000.
