1 Power Train Driveline problem of the 2006 Jeep Commander

Failure Date: 06/07/2011

Jeep Commander 2006 v8 4. 7 -engine stalls while driving with 65 mi/h on the freeway!!!in the past has stalled several times when stoping on a red lights, but yesterday happened at a freeway speed! I will not drive my children with this vehicle until Chrysler fix the problem. I have filed complaint with the company few weeks ago about stalling on stop lights and they said that I need to show the service person the problem ,but that very day the vehicle was in a good mood and I was not able to show the problem. The Chrysler person told me that they will put my case on hold for now( I guess they will look into it after the bloody crash). If I survive this Jeep and its time for a new car I will remember all this. . . Mean time I will inform ten thousand of my closest friends about my russian roulette with Jeep Commander. Today I drove the vehicle to Chrysler,Jeep dealer in downtown los angeles and I see how this one goes. . . Best regards and thank you.

2 Power Train Driveline problem of the 2006 Jeep Commander

Failure Date: 06/05/2007

I leased my 2006 Jeep Commander 4x2 4. 7 v8 in 2006. The vehicle began having problems the same day I brought it home. The vehicle stalls frequently and the electric system disables. The stalling occurs without warning. The stalling also occurs at various speeds and while the vehicle is not moving. When the engine shuts off, the vehicle is completely disabled. The brakes wont work and I lose total control over the vehicle. I was involved in an accident in 2007 due to this issue, Jeep/Chrysler has denied the repair even though I received a recall letter. The odometer is also incorrect, it changes numbers frequently. Chrysler informed me that the vehicle is safe to drive and denied any further repairs concerning the recall. The vehicle is still the same, it stalls very often. Please help me.
