Car stalls without warning. Collided with tree, major front end damage. No power steering, power brakes, no air bags were deployed, seat belts did not tension. Vehicle had stalled previously and take to dealer. Dealer replaced ignition coils and said problem was fixed.

2 Engine Belts And Pulleys problem

Failure Date: 03/18/2015

The contact owns a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The contact heard a tapping noise emitting from the engine as it lost power. The contact mentioned that the seat belt, air bag, and check engine lights were also illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer. The technician diagnosed that the head assembly needed to be replaced. No repairs were made to the vehicle. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 120,000.
