Driver placed car in park, stepped out, and vehicle started to roll backwards due to transfer case locking up. Dealer said transfer case and transmission needed to be replaced.

Whenever pushing on abs braking system, they would fail to engage. Would be vibrating. Aluminum rims were cracked. When shifting into 4-wheel drive would smell something burning. Taking vehicle to dealership. Also, the transmission failed to shift correctly.

Four wheel drive (quadra-drive) experiences excessive noise.
The car has been out of service nineteen days since 11/99. In three times for three windows being inoperable. Front brakes needing to be scuffed and new rotors on four different ocassions. Transfer fluid changed from turning noise on four different occasion and transfer case pump being replaced when in stock. Fuel pump replaced 16,000 mi. Ac problems, worn tires, battery replaced at 19,788.
At 4,000 miles while driving at speed over 40 mph, applying brakes to slow down, steering whell and tires will shake back and forth. 2. The vehicle will get stuck in 4- wheel drive.
Transfer case misaligned causing vibration and noise. Mjs (97v-194).
