The vehicle is a Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe plug-in hybrid SUV. While driving in heavy traffic on a 45 mph road, the vehicle suddenly lost propulsion, with the dash lighting up with a large "service hybrid system" warning. After several seconds of no response, with traffic trying to work its way around my stalled SUV, the vehicle began to move again, albeit very slowly, just enough to limp it to a side street. After another 30 seconds or so, the problem cleared itself and the vehicle returned to a normal state of propulsion. I took the car to the dealer where I left it for more than a week. Apparently this is a known issue, and a code appeared (b273c-00, digital crash input), but they were not able to replicate the issue while they had the vehicle and so they just reset the code. The automaker is also aware of this problem, but doesn't deem it severe enough to issue a warning to customers or provide alternative transportation while a fix is developed. The dealer's advice is to let them know when it happens again. At this point, I don't feel the vehicle is safe to drive, and it will remain parked until a fix is available.

Multiple incidents of the vehicle displaying a service hybrid system that appears for several seconds and then disappears. Today this occured, the engine abruptly switched to gas mode from hybrid with a sudden lurch, then returned to hybrid mode and the light disappeared . Vehicle has been to dealership twice for the service hybrid system light and no code is stored and they could not diagnose any further.
I was traveling on the highway at highway speed during peak commuting times when a notice to service hybrid system was displayed on the gauge cluster. The vehicle then lost all acceleration and shut down. I had to safely navigate to the side of the road with zero ability to accelerate or brake in fear of not being able to get off the roadway safely. I was automatically shifted into park once I reached a speed of around 5 mph.
This is in reference to recall #z46/NHTSA 22v-406 on June 11 2025 I had my Jeep at the dealer for an unrelated problem. The next day when the dealer called me to let me now that my Jeep was ready they mentioned they preformed the high pressure fuel pump recall. I figured no big deal, no additional trip to dealer for the recall. After getting my vehicle home I looked in to what exactly was done as part of the recall. I also found the instructions for the work to be done and the parts to be replaced as part of this recall. The dealer only preformed part of the recall, they replaced the pump the filters and left the label pack in an envelope in the vehicle. When I called them the next day to ask why the additional parts were not installed they said that they do do that part of the recall for no contaminated vehicles. In the instructions for the recall it states numerous times that the high pressure fuel lines are one time use and to discard and replace the lines. In their own service instructions for high pressure fuel lines or whenever the lines need to be removed for a repair the fuel lines are to be replaced. I have had to pay for fuel lines in the past on a repair that required removal. So my question is are dealers required to replace one time use parts only when the customer is paying? same for the egr tube and gasket. This recall was serious enough to cause a nation wide stop sale order on all dealer stock. The dealer that did this work is west valley Chrysler Jeep Dodge 4174 west 3500 south west valley city ut 84120 (801) 955-0872 any help with this would be appreciated.

I was driving my Jeep Grand Cherokee 2023 at night on the 580 freeway in northern California. Was traveling about 65 mph. When the vehicle lost all power. I was barely able to pull off to the right shoulder still was partially in the right most lane. After multiple attempts of restart the vehicle, it did restart after about 10 minutes. I’ve taken the vehicle in to the nearest dealership on a flatbed truck. It has been there since the beginning of June. Jeep is unable to repair the vehicle sighting a software update needed for the hybrid system that they have not released yet. This problem will apply to any 4xe vehicle by Jeep. Vehicle is not safe to operate on public roads. Jeep does not seem interested in accelerating the fix. I’ve been waiting nearly 3 1/2 months.
While driving 65-70mph on the interstate, my car seemed to have lost power. When I looked at the dash, a red wrench was displayed with a message to have the hybrid electrical system serviced. I pressed down on the accelerator, nothing happened. I immediately started to move into the right lanes since traffic was moving fast. I didn’t want to get hit or cause an accident. By the time I coasted into the far right lane my car seemed to have recovered and reacted appropriately when I pressed on the accelerator. Since this incident, the red wrench and message have flashed on my dashboard at least five more times, but thank goodness I haven’t lost power again. I am taking it into the dealer for inspection. It has not been inspected by anyone yet, but I am afraid to drive it.

One of the recalls for this vehicle is for "2011-2013 wk wd fuel pump relay". The car stalled on the road but I was able to bring it home and apply a temporary fix by connecting the pump fuse with the cigarette lighter fuse (per some online instructions). The car runs now, but it's not a permanent fix. I called a dealer (everett, wa) and scheduled an appointment (it was two weeks ago). Today during my appointment I was sent back home saying they don't have the part and I'll need to come back in a couple of weeks, just for the inspection! complete incompetence. I called another place (kirkland, wa) and was also told that they are ordering the part now but will need to wait from few to several weeks. If this recall makes my car unsafe to drive (stall happened on the road, my solution is not perfect) why are the dealerships/Jeep not taking the repair seriously?.

The vehicle has been regularly throwing an error saying service hybrid system and having a massive stutter in power while the hybrid motor shuts off and the engine is started to try and take over immediately. The vehicle has been in the shop for this previously, only to be returned to me saying they don’t have a fix for the problem and to continue to drive it. This happened again at highway speed and caused a near immediate loss of 10-15 miles per hour and were it not for evasive driving on my part and the other car, would have caused an accident. This powertrain has major issues that continue to happen.
I was driving within a city and came to a red light. Since my car is a hybrid (2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe, also I just purchased this lease in April 2025) the car will switch to the ev battery when I come to a halt and when I propel forward the car will either remain on the ev battery (if the battery has mile range) or it will switch to the engine. As the light turned green and I pushed the pedal to move forward, my car began to move forward using the ev battery but when the car attempted to switch to the engine, it tripped and my car would not move forward at all (this all occurred in the middle of traffic). I attempted to restart my car and my car would turn on but my engine would not start / my dash kept instructing to push the brake and hit the start button / also my dash displayed both engine and battery light / I was unable to shift my gears in any position. I attempted to restart my care multiple times over 40 minutes. I finally let my car sit completely turned off for 30-40 mins and attempted to restart one more time and it did start and I was able to drive it to a safe location. I contacted moped roadside assistance and I was given a 2-4 hour wait time for towing to the nearest dealership. In addition I was not within my hometown and was supposed to drive back to my hometown later that day. I ended up having a family member following me home. Thankfully I did not experience this issue on the drive home but I am nervous to drive the car, especially on the expressway.
On may 17, 2025, my vehicle suddenly shut down in heavy traffic on a major nyc highway (no shoulder), creating a hazardous situation. There was no warning or alert before the engine shut off completely. I was unable to restart the car, and the gear shifter was locked. The brake pedal also became unresponsive temporarily. After some time, the brake unlocked, but the ignition remained inactive and the vehicle was immobilized. The car had to be removed by emergency tow and later diagnosed by a Jeep dealer. The root cause was determined to be failure of the fuel pump(s). Additionally, a blown fuse in the power distribution center (pdc) was discovered. The dealer replaced both fuel pumps under warranty. Jeep has refused to acknowledge this as a safety issue or reimburse emergency expenses despite full documentation. This is a serious safety issue, especially since: there was no prior warning vehicle failure occurred in heavy traffic driver was stranded in a live lane the issue appears related to core electrical/fuel systems I have identified over 20 similar complaints from Jeep owners of their cars also shutting down in traffic, often without warning. These have been shared on owner forums and consumer boards. I believe this indicates there is a wider pattern that may indicate a safety defect.

Within days after completing the 95b recall (24v-720) on my Grand Cherokee 4xe phev , the vehicle would periodically flash an error message saying ”service hybrid system” or something to that effect. It would illuminate for just a few seconds. On may 21, I took the vehicle back to the dealership (brigham-gill, natick, MA). They read several codes and after conferring with Jeep, said the vehicle is unsafe to drive. It has remained there parked in their backlot as of July 15. The dealership is awaiting guidance from Jeep and informed me they have several others in the same situation. So there were few issues here 1) if I hadn’t returned to the dealership to ask about these brief flashing messages, I would not have known that the vehicle was unsafe to drive. These messages never stayed illuminated for more than a few seconds, and there is no residual “check engine” light. 2) it is incorrect to say that the 95b recall addressed the issue of the failing batteries if it renders the vehicle in operable. 3) the 95b recall patch software was released in January 2025. I find it hard to believe that as of mid July they’ve been unable to find out why it doesn’t work in all the vehicles as intended. This leads me to question the thoroughness of the regression testing before it was released.
My Jeep Grand Cherokee 2022 4xe lost power while I was going 65 miles per hour on the freeway. I had great difficulty getting to the side of the freeway nearly being struck by other drivers. I had no power steering and no way to put my hazard lights on when the car lost power. The Jeep is still not drivable at this time and is at the dealership.
On may 4th, 2025, at approximately 10:50am I was traveling at approximately 65mph on a 6 lane highway when the vehicle lost all all propulsion. Following sequence of events took place on car: - dashboard warning to service hybrid system flashed - dashboard message to depress break and push button to start car. - car lost power. Could not accelerate. Display and radio still worked. - coasted across 2 lanes of traffic to side of the highway. - car went into park and emergency brake engaged without my action. - pushed start button and car started. On a busy highway, the vehicle would not accelerate resulting putting both my life and the lives of others on that highway at risk. I am now afraid to drive the vehicle. Vehicle has all service notice recalls completed. Vehicle taken to Jeep dealer for service. At dealer for 48 hours now. Dealer does not know how to fix vehicle. Dealer stated they have 4 other vehicles with the same exact problem. Dealer stated Jeep does not have a fix. No eta for fixed car given.
Once a week or so, the vehicle will experience motive power loss while driving. Typically, it's for 3 or 4 seconds and is accompanied by a blinking red "service hybrid electric vehicle system" warning light on the dashboard. This is very dangerous because for those 3 or 4 seconds, the vehicle will not accelerate/maintain speed. I've had the vehicle at the dealership for the same reason multiple times. The dealership has tried to identify the root cause but so far has not been successful.
From one day to the next the engine is blown. Mechanic says the engine was hot for a while but no light or notices came up until the day of the major issue. I had jsut taken it to get new headlights and tires rotated and no mention of anything off. From oen day to thenext it overheated. I see similar recalls on the same exact Jeep. Make model and year.

On three different occasions, the Jeep randomly turned off on its own. Each time I was stopped, so thankfully I was not injured. I brought it to two different dealerships, one in may 2025 and one in July 2025, and neither of them could fix it. The last dealership advised me not to drive the vehicle due to the safety implications of a stall during driving due to "the digital crash input issue". As a result, I sold my Jeep and bought another vehicle. The vehicle was still under warranty when I sold it.
The v62 fuel pump recall was repaired in 2021. Recently this vehicle has had hard starts again, misfires, engine light came on. The vehicle was taken in to certified repair shop. The shop states cannot diagnose without tearing the only thing apart and a high expense. The shop believes it could be lifters or possibly cam but they are unsure even though the systems to this vehicle having a hard start and misfiring relates to this v62 fuel pump relay that is relates to the cam shaft sensor and causes hard starts and misfires. The car is not driveable more than a short distance. The vehicle is unsafe to drive due to the fact you do not know when this vehicle will stall or start again. The v62 recall pet fuel pump relay has malfunctioned. This part was repair but is a faulty part, a lemon, and the manufacturer should be standing behind this part and their product. I have discussed this with the repair shop and Chrysler/Jeep and now pursing with you due to the safety of this vehicle, the defective recall part, and the fact the manufacturer needs to stand behind their product.

- I received a "service hybrid system" light while driving (it only appeared for a split second and went away) and I took it to the dealership for troubleshooting. The dealership found a stored code of b273c-00. They contacted their Jeep engineers who have not been forthcoming as to what the issue is, but said the vehicle is not safe to drive, so I am not allowed to have the vehicle back (the same dealership has a 2nd Grand Cherokee 4xe with the same issue). Both vehicles are currently at the dealership and should be available for inspection. From my online research it seems to be tied to the vehicle's crash sensor and high voltage cable harness. There are also numerous other owners in online forums discussing the same issue with their Jeeps (grand cherokees and wranglers). -as Jeep engineers are not allowing myself or others to drive their vehicle with this code, they obviously consider it a safety issue. The scary thing to me is, that had I not happen to see that quick flash of the "service hybrid light" I would be driving this unsafe vehicle without knowing it, as it did not turn on the check engine light, so I had no idea there was a stored code until the dealer checked it out. That means there are probably thousands of folks driving around at risk without even know there is a safety issue. -this issue has apparently been going on for months, as the other Jeep at my dealership has there for months now.
I was traveling on a highway at 65mph in hybrid mode. The car displayed a service hybrid electric vehicle system warning message along with several other system failure messages in rapid succession. The battery failure icon was also on. The car lost all power and started slowing down. Luckily traffic was light and I was able to reach a point to where I was able to move to a spot on the roadside. I stopped the car and it automatically went into park and would not move out of park. After several tries I was able to start the vehicle in esave mode and it was running on the ice. All of the errors cleared. I was able to proceed to a side road and eventually make it home. I took it to my local dealer the next day and a read of the code was a b273c indicating digital crash detection. The service manager said this is a known problem and they are waiting for a fix. Reference star publication s2408000063 rev. C in most cases only the service hybrid electric vehicle system warning message comes on for a few second and goes away. This has occurred on my vehicle multiple times with no side effects. One other time the car went into turtle mode, which cleared after a restart. It was in town so was not an issue to pull over. This time the loss of power could have been catastrophic if traffic was heavy while traveling on a busy highway at high speeds.

There is a loss of power in the moment the propulsion changes from electric to gas followed by an error message to "service hybrid electrical system". Dealer inspected an found there is currently no remedy. Seems to be a known issue by now.
I am filing a complaint regarding repeated and dangerous safety failures with my 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee overland 4xe, which I purchased as a brand-new vehicle on February 22, 2025. The most critical issue is that the vehicle has shut off on two separate occasions—once while in motion driving up a hill and once during a suspension height adjustment while stopped. In both cases, the engine powered down unexpectedly, a red wrench and lightning bolt warning appeared, and the vehicle shifted into park on its own. I was unable to restart the vehicle immediately, creating a severe hazard. These shutdowns were preceded or followed by system warnings including “electric mode unavailable – service required,” “active driving assist unavailable,” “night vision unavailable,” “traffic sign assist unavailable,” and “tire pressure monitoring unavailable. ” these alerts began appearing within weeks of purchase and have persisted intermittently, sometimes alongside performance issues such as sudden jolts at highway speed. The cdjr dealership in northern California and various manufacturer (Jeep/stellantis) technical advisors have inspected the vehicle multiple times. A software defect has been identified and confirmed by Jeep, but no fix is available. A technical service bulletin 08-003-25 dated January 8, 2025—before I purchased the vehicle—acknowledges this issue. Despite this, the vehicle was sold to me, and I was sent home with it multiple times even after reporting these failures. The dealership and manufacturer technical advisors now consider the vehicle unsafe to operate and will not return it until a software update is released. The vehicle is currently at the dealership and available for inspection upon request. Supporting documentation including service records, warning light photos, and communications with Jeep customer care and the dealership, can be provided. I urge the agency to investigate this matter due to the confirmed safety risk and lack of timely resolution.
I have had to fix several issues since purchasing the vehicle. Most recently the oil filter house and the radiator. I am now having issues with the gas sensor. From what was explained to me, the sensor is not registering the amount of fuel in the tank and therefore believes there is low gas in the car. The check engine light turns off and on and the car begins to shake uncontrollably and it almost feels like it will shut off.
I bought the Jeep Grand Cherokee limited in 2021. Since I bought it I have had one problem after another with this SUV. This is the list of repairs on my car since 2021. . . And Jeep has done nothing to compensate for my troubles. I feel like I got a lemon of a car and I would never purchase another Jeep again. We have maintained the car and have records of all oil changes and tire rotation and all necessary maintance that should have been done on the car. July 31 2024. . . Evaporator core fixed car leaking all over ac fixed. . . Jeep couldn't find problem then finally did. Oct. 4 2024. . New radiator. . . Car leaking all over. . . Once again hard time finding problem March 26, 2024. . . Two new batteries installed car hard time starting. . . Was not problem cause March 27, 2024. . Same problem brought back and now I need a fuel pump ( car had burning smell and I was driving it because they could not diagnose the problem )and because they made we wait a week to get it checked out they said there could be more damage to car not sure. Fuel pump should last 100,000 miles. . My car has 68, 000. 00 in the three and half years with this car I have had one safety problem after another and I am upset I travel to help my elderly parents on long island and each time I am afraid something is going to go wrong with this car. I am so very upset on how the performance of a three year old car is running. I feel people need to know that Jeep is not a reliable brand of car. I am so upset and feel that my car is not reliable and safe for driving long distances and short distances. Thank you for listening to my story. I appreciate you letting others now how my experience with Jeep has been. Thank you.
Unknown or uncertain about needing a recall. Recently my car has been having trouble with acceleration in the sense that either it will lag or stall out and at times will give acceleration even without me trying to depress the gas harder. It sputters like it either cannot get gas or the fuel system is faulty, it keeps throwing codes and the check engine light dings and flashes. Cruise control sometimes will not come on, theres a burnt smell and rough idles, I have noticed a deep humming sound under my feet while driving, and sometimes when shifting from park to gear it jerks really hard, going down the road it acts like it takes too long to shift. It really is very scary when it does these things, its a daily occurrence. Sometimes it drives just fine then all of a sudden will malfunction. I've only had the car not quite 2 years and they said they repaired the recalls in 2018, after I had scheduled an appointment for July 2025.

The vehicle lights up a red wrench with a lightning bolt through it and then alerts to a "service hybrid electric vehicle system" message. This light stays on from either a few seconds to several minuets before turning off. There is no consistency as to when the warning illuminates. Every time it has come on has been at highway speeds. There is fear that the vehicle is going to lose power and/or propulsion while at a high speed. This feels like a danger to myself, my occupants, and others on the road.
I was driving down a hill, came to a stop, and it died. I put the car in park, and turned it off and on. There were no messages on the dashboard. The car started, so I took a left turn and suddenly the car stopped moving. The rpm went up, but the car didn't drive. It kicked back and it finally started driving but with the car hesitating. I was in the middle of a very busy intersection. The car died 3 times yesterday, and today it died 2 times.
Subject: supplemental evidence – odi complaint [NHTSA complaint 1663939 and 11673063. ] dear NHTSA, I am submitting supplemental evidence regarding my complaint of loss of propulsion in my 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe (VIN ending 17654). On September 4, 2025, Chrysler (fca us, llc) filed recall 25v576 covering 91,787 Jeep Grand Cherokee phevs (2022–2026) for the exact defect I reported: a software error in the hybrid control processor that may cause a sudden loss of drive power, increasing the risk of a crash. This defect was documented in my case as dtc b273c-00. My dealership confirmed the code on multiple service visits (February 25, 2025 and may 21, 2025), and the arbitrator in case #51255084il also confirmed the defect in his July 7, 2025 decision. Despite this, fca repeatedly denied any safety concern, asserting my vehicle was “safe to operate. ” the recall proves that: •the defect is real and poses a safety risk. •fca was aware of the defect months before acknowledging it publicly. •fca misled me, the illinois attorney general’s office, and arbitration proceedings by denying the existence of a safety issue. For the record, I experienced loss of propulsion while driving with my children, which created a dangerous situation. I ask that my complaint remain open and that NHTSA investigate fca’s delay and misrepresentations in disclosing this safety defect. Sincerely, sachin ahuja.
Vehicle suffers from a documented hybrid defect (dtc b273c-00) that causes loss of electric propulsion, disables hybrid modes, and triggers "service hybrid electric vehicle system" warnings. The problem first appeared around Feb 2025 and was confirmed by fca’s own star bulletins and dealership diagnostics. No validated fix exists; dealership only cleared the fault code temporarily. The defect led • power loss during highway merge on March 8, 2025, with children in the car • sudden unintended acceleration on may 10, 2025 • persistent warnings and failure to operate in advertised hybrid/electric modes for over 120+ days fca refused to repurchase, replace, or permanently repair, despite acknowledging the defect and safety risk in internal documents. The vehicle remains in ice-only mode, depriving it of the key safety and efficiency features it was designed to provide. The defect significantly raises risk of collision due to unpredictable propulsion response, and no dealership or fca representative provided written certification the vehicle is safe in all drive modes. Vehicle purchased in wisconsin but always registered and operated exclusively in illinois. Arbitration through ncds confirmed the defect exists but denied relief, citing insufficient corroboration. Problem was reproduced and confirmed by certified dealership and documented in service records. This complaint is part of an ongoing concern that hybrid system emi issues (like dtc b273c-00) pose systemic safety risk and remain unresolved.
Our car is now having two issues: 1. The first issue is extremely scary, but we found a temporary work around so have been dealing with it for months as we needed are car. If the auto stop/start is not turned off (which has to happen ever time the car is started), the car essentially puts on an emergency break and shuts down the car at the first for second stop. This happened in the middle of a busy intersection the first time and happened numerous other times including while I was on the phone with the Jeep dealership. It is extremely dangerous as you can be stuck at a stop light in the middle of the road and the car has to be turned off and turned back on. We drive on [xxx] in michigan daily for work and it is a 55mph road with dozens of stop lights making this a huge safety hazard. I have seen numerous other people on a Jeep wagoneer facebook page with the same issue. 2. The second issue is more recent, but has made the car un-drivable. While driving suddenly the "service fuel system" alert comes on with the check engine light flashing and the car feels like it is going to stall out, then it will regulate and the alert will go away, then it will come back a minute later. We immediately drove our car to the dealership as it was not drivable that way and they have had it for 3 weeks unable to find a fix. We put premium 93 gas in our car and it has not been in any accidents. Information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. S. C. 552(b)(6).
Subject: defective hybrid system – 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe overland – sudden power loss vehicle info: •year/make/model: 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe overland •VIN: 1c4rjyd60n8717654 •issue: recurring digital crash input fault (b273c-00) disabling hybrid propulsion. •safety risk: sudden propulsion loss while turning or on highway, placing driver and others in danger. Incident summary: •first occurrence: Feb 2025. •latest confirmation: may 2025 (work order on file). •dealership confirmed fault and noted possible orc module replacement if the code returns. •fca star bulletins (s2208000154 & s2408000063) acknowledge the issue but state no official remedy is yet available. •fca refuses to declare vehicle safe in writing. Outcome: vehicle cannot operate in electric or hybrid mode. This is not a warning light issue — this is a propulsion system failure that compromises basic driving safety. We respectfully request NHTSA •include this vehicle/VIN in an investigation of known b273c-00 cases. •enforce disclosure requirements to inform consumers of unresolved critical defects. Attachments. Additional documents are available upon request: •fca star documents •work orders (Feb & may) •arbitration decision and clarifications •vehicle photo evidence.
Driving down the interstate at 75mph, the vehicle all of a sudden lost the ability to accelerate and felt like it shifted into neutral. We were able to pull over to the side of the road safely and as we were getting out of the vehicle, we noticed flames shooting out from under the engine. My wife and I made it out safely and as we got about 100 yards away and looked back toward the vehicle, the entire front part of the vehicle was engulfed in flames. We sat along the side of the interstate and watched the vehicle burn for 20-25 minutes. We just had the vehicle in for service 6 days prior to get a new battery, a new aux battery, an advanced diagnostic, brake fluid exchange, and a fuel system service. The evening we picked up the vehicle from service, we got an email with a powertrain alert indicator. We then checked the app on the phone and everything in the powertrain section of the vehicle health report was green. I have several videos of the vehicle burning but it doesn't look like I can upload a video file.

Various vehicle systems fail to operate. Power steering may not work, parts of the powertrain may fail to operate. The vehicle has a code b273c-00 which stellantis says their engineers are aware of but have no fix nor any timeline for a fix. This can rendee the vehicle inoperable or dangerous to drive as there is no knowing which vehicle systems will fail. This is an ongoing problem, not a one time event.
The car loses power while indicating a battery failure. It does this both while driving and the when idling. It has done so on the highway in traffic twice and around town a handful of times and routinely will do so when idling.
On February 10, 2025 at approximately 4:45 est, I was driving approximately 55mph in the far left lane of a multi-lane highway when I received a notice that my hybrid propulsion system had malfunctioned. Upon receiving the notice, I immediately lost power/propulsion of my vehicle although the warning notice disappeared and the screen made it appear that the vehicle was operating. As I pressed the gas pedal, I noted that there was no power being provided to the powertrain and I had to progressively move to the right to find a safe spot to stop. Upon stopping, the warning re-appeared and informed me to put the car in park and turn it off and restart the vehicle. At the time of failure, the battery had a remaining charge of 10% and 3/4 tank of gas. Upon restart, the vehicle functioned as normal using the gasoline powered engine. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request. My safety was put at risk due to the loss of power in an area where most vehicles were operating near 55 mph. The computer warning about the malfunction was confusing and it disappeared relatively quickly leading to significant confusion about how to operate the vehicle especially given that the dashboard returned to a normal state. The problem has not yet been reported to a dealer as they were closed for service. There were no warning lamps, messages, or symptoms prior to the failure other than the short warning that appeared at the start of the loss of power and referenced above.
Lights on the dashboard were blinking, there were no turning signals, the gas gauge was not working, and the check engine light was flashing. My safety was put at risk because I could not let people know when I was turning. I took it to the dealer, and they said there were too many codes, but none were active for them to fix the problem. So, I have to drive the Jeep, but this is dangerous. The warning keeps showing me that there is a problem with the ignition switch that was previously recalled. I want this taken care of, please.
