The contact owns a 2007 Jeep Liberty. While driving approximately 55 mph, the contact heard an abnormal grinding sound coming from the front of the vehicle. The vehicle made a vibrating motion. The failure recurred several times intermittently. The contact also stated that there was a knocking sound from the rear of the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, but was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 80,000. Tl- the contact owns a 2007 Jeep Liberty. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds the vehicle would abruptly go into gear causing the vehicle to jerk. The contact also indicated that the traction control sensor light erroneously came on while operating the vehicle. The engine temperature light comes on indicating that the engine was hot and the abs sensor light comes on and the grinding noise was present coming from the front of the vehicle. The radio was hot to the touch and the ceiling light would suddenly turn on while operating the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who was unable to diagnose the cause of the failures. The manufacturer was notified of the failures. The failure mileage was 12,000. Jft.
