1 Front Suspension Hub problem of the 2005 Jeep Liberty

Failure Date: 01/14/2021

Like everyone else is reporting all of my upper and lower ball joints are bad on my 2005 Liberty. With just over 125k miles I have been told that I have over $3,000 in repairs needed, front upper and lower ball joint, rear ball joints, front hub bearings and both front cv axles. This is the entire front suspension (rear lower ball joints were covered in a recall and were replaced after we had to have it towed in for breakage) . This is obvious a problem and Jeep needs to do a recall and reimburse people for their expenses.

2 Front Suspension Hub problem of the 2005 Jeep Liberty

Failure Date: 06/13/2020

Purchased a 2005 Jeep Liberty in the state of wisconsin, a state that has excessive cold and icy weather, streets are heavily salted. The Jeep I purchased has had several recalls, major was the rear end control arm, which the dealership repaired. 2005 Jeep Liberty also has major electrical problems which causes the engine cooling fan to short out. Having it to be frequently replaced once a year. 2nd major problem is the front right control arm assembly front upper left and right. Along with wheel hub assembly, both corrodes and can cause the steering to brake into, resulting in a lost of steering causing a major accident while driving. These major mechanical problems needs should be recalled, so they can be replaced or repaired. I've taken the Jeep to different repairs shop and was told the Jeeps are known for safety issues including electrical and control arm problems and to check for recalls.

3 Front Suspension Hub problem of the 2012 Jeep Liberty

Failure Date: 08/05/2019

I had to have my rf hub bearing replaced 3 times. My vehicle was purchased new. The first time milage was around 75000 mile second was at about 150 and again around 255 its appears once a year. I am now having problems with leaks. My transmission is leaking, water pump leaking and oil all at once. Going in for inspection today. Started with trans leak followed by these other leaks. I noticed the vehicle was leaking trans fluid and it was jerking hesitate to go into gear. Added trans fluid was find but found myself adding more fluid within next 2 days so I know it has to be checked out. Now the vehicle is running hot my reservoir was not at max so I filled it up. Needle started go up to hot mark but did not get hot no smoke nothing. Would go back down as long as I was driving. Checked today ending oil and it is low. Just had oil change over a month ago. Will keep you informed after inspection. My vehicle is now at 255 thousand miles. I have had regular maintenance.

4 Front Suspension Hub problem of the 2003 Jeep Liberty

Failure Date: 09/01/2018

A recall was made for Jeep Liberty for the control arms upper and lower and the ball joints. I was told my VIN did not have the recall. However, others had the recall and Jeep paid for the repairs. After the repairs the wheel hub went bad, and a recall was made for that but not my basic model. After replacing the wheel hub the driveshaft was damaged by all the issues. A recall for the same vehicle was made for a driveshaft and again the bass model was not included in the recall. This time Jeep said they would fix the driveshaft and when it came time they denied it.
