The contact owns a 2007 Jeep Wrangler 4x4. While driving 65 mph the instrument panel lights illuminated and there was a loss of power steering and brakes. This problem occurred on two occasions. The dealer stated that they were unable to duplicate the failure. Approximately ten minutes after leaving the dealer the vehicle experienced the same problem on four occasions. While driving transmission starts to slip. A new transmission had to be installed. There was a leaking tank seal. Water leaks through the a/c and heater hoses. There are holes at the bulk head. Theres a faulty key cylinder. The passenger door is difficult to open and close. There are 2 recalls on this vehicle. One for a faulty ignition switch and the other for hte intake manifold.

Consumer is concerned with the type of putty used on the plastic door frame. This putty is meant to keep water from flowing through a joint in the door frame. This frame is one piece and is designed to be removed.
Passenger door does not fit properly and does not close properly.
Doors failed.
4-wheel drive inoperable. In addition, driver's seat belt will not retract/gas gauge failed, shows tank 1/4-1/2 full when it is actually out of gas/passenger's side door handle very tight and squeaky/abs brakes squeal loudly/automatic transmission has trouble shifting and sticks prior to releasing to next gear, and seat belt warning system buzzer sounds at times uneven and loud with a squeaking noise.
