1999 Land Rover discovery series 2. The consumer stated that the wheel speed sensor for the abs unit showed a default which disabled the abs. The consumer took the vehicle to dealership, and they would not use the original parts to replace the wheel speed sensor. They have manufactured three different parts. This only happened on the passenger's side front wheel speed sensor. This has been fixed three times. The manufacturer stated that the problem was not a defect in manufacturing. This problem had been occurring for six months to a year, the consumer was not sure of the date. (11/17/05).
