The safety features on my Lexus ES 350 2020 malfunctioned on 10/16/2022 •cruise control with radar functionality to speed up, slow down or stop, based upon my speed setting did not work at that moment. It did work my entire trip, which was a drive to tallahassee from our residence on Friday and our return trip home on Sunday, until the accident occurred just north of the ft. Pierce exit. •the brake sensor, which causes your vehicle to stop with obstructions near the vehicle did not function. •airbags did not deploy •seatbelts did not “lock” at impact. When I realized that the safety features (radar and brake sensor) were not working, I slammed on the brakes, but nothing happened.

Gm is unable to provide an eta on a replacement airbag that is under an open safety recall. It has been months since I started contacting my nearest GMC dealer and gm customer support. It is unacceptable they can immediately repair let alone being un able to even provide a time frame for the replacement airbags.

I was driving on freeway 5 south, in a carpool lane, all of sudden another car slammed to my rear door on the right side, caused my car to spin out of control, went accross the freeway and slammed to the left rear wheels of the incoming 18 wheelers big rig, but none of the airbags inside the brand new 2020 Lexus ES 350 deployed to protect accupants.

Takata recall - no incident yet.
I have a family of five and have not been able to use my vehicle to take my whole family anywhere for almost a year now. Any time I have a passenger I have to ask that they sit in the back seat. The dealership was supposed to contact me to determine airbag replacement date and provide a loaner car if they could not replace the airbag in a timely manner. I have not been able to get through to the dealership and have not received a return call. I feel I have been patient but this has become a burden on me and my family and I would like the airbag to be fixed as soon as possible so I can use my vehicle as a family car as intended.
I received a recall notice with instructions to contact the dealer. I have called the dealer 5 or 6 times over the past 2 months, and each time they tell me no one is available to talk to me and they send me to voice mail to leave a message. I have done that but no one has ever called me back about this. The dealer is plaza Lexus in creve couer, missouri.

Takata recall. We called Lexus of fife in November of 2017 when we received notification the airbag replacements were available. As of this date of January 21st 2018 we have not had a fix. When we called the first of the year we were told we we #51 on the list. We called again mid month and were told the same thing #51. There seems to be no sense of urgency to solve this issue. We are scheduled to drive to southern California for a wedding in mid February 2018 and I would like this issue resolved before we drive that far. If this is a deadly issue shouldn't it be a priority to solve it. While I understand Lexus of fife can't do free work all day there should be another option to fix this problem ASAP.

I was notified by dealer longo and Toyota's Lexus division in mid-2016 and notified by NHTSA in Jan 2017 that remains unresolved. Would appreciate advise what kind action should be taken ?! it is dangerous in this high traffic town of los angeles whenever accidents happen readily !!.

Takata recall: I was called by Lexus to say there was a recall 2 months ago. I made an appointment and left my car there. They gave me a loaner. They called and apologized they didn't have the replacement part. They said they would call me when they did and I returned the loaner and took my car back. Then a month later hey called and scheduled an appointment again for the same reason. I asked them to check if they had the part, and they called me back an hour later saying 'oops we still don't have the part'. This is not acceptable. I am driving an unsafe car for over 2 months and am worried I am at risk.
