The contact owns a 2004 Nissan Altima. While driving various speeds and while the vehicle was stationary, the vehicle stalled without warning. 2 O2 Sensor problem of the 2013 Nissan Altima

Failure Date: 11/20/2014

Brand new vehicle just shy of 1 year bought and check engine goes on twice for reprogram of oxygen sensor, once in town before thanksgiving week in November 2014 and a second time while out of town for the thanksgiving holidays. Frustrating that I took the vehicle in to the dealer to get fixed and it wasn't done the first time. It looks like they just cleared the system and the light and it came back on while out of town for the same problem.

3 O2 Sensor problem of the 2005 Nissan Altima

I already went though p0420 issue few years back and I got it again. Nissan dealer charged me whole lotta money to fix the issue and the warning sign came back again. Went to local auto zone and it show p0420 again. Please help. I read so many articles online and it turns out all Altima has this issue (crankshaft, O2 sensor, etc. ).

4 O2 Sensor problem of the 2004 Nissan Altima

Failure Date: 07/31/2012

The vehicle kept showing codes p1148, p1278 and p1279. Took it to Nissan dealer several times and they changed maf sensor, all oxygen sensors, fuel system cleaning but the code kept showing up. The vehicle finally shut off on the parkway without warning and we were rear ended. Luckily we were only two in the front of the vehicle and had to be taken to the hospital. We both have suffered serious injuries from this accident. The Nissan Altima is a death trap. Nissans is a bad company. . . . Beware!!!.

5 O2 Sensor problem of the 2000 Nissan Altima

Failure Date: 05/12/2007

The gauges all go dead in the dash on my 2000 Nissan Altima. This is really very scary as I have really no idea how fast I'm going and just try and go with the flow of traffic when this happens. Living in a very busy city and taking the expressway when necessary poses a threat to myself and other drivers. I have had to pull over and let the car cool and then complete my trip so as to have working gauges. No Nissan dealer or mechanic has been able to offer a solution to the problem and based on my research this seems to be a widespread issue with Nissan. Also, the O2 sensors and the gaskets are bad on this car.

6 O2 Sensor problem of the 2004 Nissan Altima

Failure Date: 10/31/2006

"engine service soon light" came on and took car to the shop on 10/31/06. At the time it came on there were no running problems. Nissan dealer replaced rear 02 sensor and diagnoses and reprogrammed engine control module. On 11/20/06 (less than three weeks later) the "engine service soon light" came on again. Prior to taking the car there were no running problems. Nissan dealer checked vehicle and called me and said that they need to run another diagnostic test for another fee. When I went to the dealership the vehicle was idling up an down and would accelerate on its own without touching the accelerator. P2135 throttle position sensor found, replaced sensor and cleared codes. I was charged on both occasions for a total of $668.

7 O2 Sensor problem of the 2002 Nissan Altima

Too many issues to remember than all but I'll try: - excessive oil use - excessive coolant use - overheating to the aforementioned issues - intermittent transmission issues - failing airbag - electrical issues - broken sensors - catalytic converters gone bad - oxygen sensors gone bad - intermittent failure to start - intermittent car shaking and so on.
