I purchase a 2016 Nissan Rogue on July 27,2019. On August 20 I took car back to dealership and stated that the car have vibration, click sound , the hood was like it was going pop up if I went more than 65mph and was like you had give a lot gas for it to go. The say they check out and nothing was wrong. One day I was driving down and had to push petal all way down and the car was still only going about 20 mph but the rpm was at like 5. Was sacred feeling took car back to dealership and they say nothing was wrong. Then on Jan 1,2020 coming down 95 southbound and my whole dash bored lights came on . I believe it was every single warning light came on. Was told that my abs was bad and it was going cost around 3800 to be replaced. My car stayed at Nissan dealership for over 2 months. Once I receive my car back still complain about the vibration and hood. Again was told since it's no check engine light there's no problem. On July 17 my check engine came on and my rpm was going up to like 5. Drop my car to Nissan to have light check out was told that there's wasn't a light on once they pull my car in shop. Again no answer. On August 8 my car was like I had push pedal all way and it was going like 25 mph and rpm was at 4 but the check engine light and airbag light came on. Took my car back to dealership and was told that it was my transmission. Now that my warranty has expired just the end of July 2020 I can receive a diagnostic if problem. But I have been experiencing this things the whole year I have had the vehicle. I see that there are know problem with these transmissions in Rogue. I see where the warranty has been extended for cvt transmission so why that doesn't apply to my vehicle?.

My car wouldn't start it would turn off as I'm sitting at a light, all my lights would blink on and off it was making a clicking sound then it finally turned on and my tire pressure light came on and a triangle with an explanation came on. I received a recall notice on my car, so I took it in and they told me it was the transmission and had to fix it they had my car for a whole week. I received my car back and about 2 months later my car continued to have the exact same problem. They fixed nothing!!!! my cars in the shop right now as we speak because of the same problem.

Many complaints. First when car is stationary and engine first starts I hear loud banging or clattering noise. Seems worse when ac is on and goes away in a few mins. Also when at a light or stop sign looks like car is going to stall which can be very dangerous. Both issues started at the same time so may be related. Also antenna for radio nut working was told by mechanic msmufacturer issue. Read on line many peop,e expressing frustration either Nissan on same issues. Will go Toyota for next car.

The car has a keyless operation. After service an reprogramming for a cvt issue, the engine failed to start after sitting in the garage overnight. In order to start, the brake must be engaged before pushing the start button. This did not work and the start engine light did not come on. Pushing the start button resulted in clicking noise but the solenoid (if this car has one) did not engage. After trying several times and turning lights on and off, the car starts. I am concerned that the ignition would disengage while driving. Once the vehicle started, it did not shut off until I turned it off; but I haven't tested driving it. The car never did this until the computer reprogramming done this past Thursday February 24th when I had the car service before leaving on a trip.
I bought new nisaan Rogue select 2014 on July 13,2014. For the first month it was working excellent. Suddenly I started hearing a click sound ( some times louder). This sound I feel coming from engine near right front wheel. I reported this in my first 1000 mile inspection, but service department said it is normal. Then I drove same vehicle of my friend, I did not feel any such sound. During my first service ( 6 months service) I again mentioned same thing to service dept. This time they explained that this is coming because shifting from back gear to driving mode. But if it is normal then why other vehicle does not have this kind of sound. Also, some times it is very scary. We feel that something is broken. But we are not getting any help. Thanks.
We bought a car last Monday on may 26, 2014 at antwerpen Nissan security dealership (1701 woodlawn drive, baltimore, MD 21207). Please find the car details: year: 2008 make: Nissan model: Rogue body type: 4dr sl fwd trim: sl black VIN: jn8as58t28w013971 odometer: 78321 with a dealer warranty for one month or 1000 miles, powertrain only ; for the total cash delivered price of $13,000. 00 (thirteen thousand us dollars) already paid by check on may 26, 2014. The second day we were facing problems with the car as the motor was overheated in very few miles, it was smelling smoky inside and the motor was making cracking noises even when it was turned off. We called immediately the sales manager and let him know that we want to turn the car back as it is not functioning properly. The day after we almost get an accident in the traffic that put our life in danger. The car lost power while driving: gas pedal was fully pushed down and the tachometer showed 3500 rpm while the speed hardly reached 20 mph for about 2 miles till we pulled over at bel air road. We decided to call the general manager for turning the car back as it was within the warranty and I was very clear to him that I do not want that car any more. He agreed to do so, and on last Friday may 30th, 2014, they carried the car from our home location. We requested the money back. Since that day we have being waiting for days and hours in the dealership offices for a response of our request, but they lied to us all the time and last night after many attempts on deaf phone calls the response was: no, they are not giving us the money back. The car dealer pretend that this dangerous car has no problems at all !!!.
