When I bought the car, it started making a grunting sound every time I would accelerate the car and start driving. Now the car stalls while I'm on drive. It had turned off on me a few times while driving and quickly turn back on, and other times it would turn off when I would make a turn I took my car to my mechanic and they weren't sure what is wrong with it. They say it might be an electrical issue or the transmission, they also said that my axles are bad on my car. I only have a year with the car which I bought from enterprise car sales and it had 115k miles. Still too little for it to have that many problems.
The rear door locks on my vehicle fail to lock and unlock properly, especially using the power lock switches or key fob. This is not an occasional issue — it happens every single day. This is a major safety concern because the back doors often cannot be opened at all, which puts my children at risk of being trapped inside during an emergency or accident. In addition, the rear windows frequently get stuck and will not roll down. This is also a daily occurrence. It makes the problem even more dangerous because the windows cannot be used as an emergency exit if the doors fail. These issues are consistent and ongoing. Because the vehicle is used to transport children, the defective door locks and windows create a significant safety hazard that could prevent occupants from exiting the car quickly in an accident, fire, or similar emergency.
The car stalls while the vehicle is in motion and has difficulty starting. The car stalls each time after it comes to a complete stop at lights or a stop sign makes it very dangerous.

Battery died at 24,000 miles. Never had any issues until this.
On 10/28/2024 I was driving on a highway at 60 mph with light traffic. All of a sudden the radio display panel went blank and all the warning lights on dashboard lit up. The car started to slow down and did not gain speed even when gas pedal is pressed. Car speed went down to 40 mph. I put on hazard lights and looking for safe spot to park the car. I drove for 2 to 3 minutes and then dashboard warnings lights went out, radio came back and the car gained speed again. It drove normal again. This car has other issues as well such usb ports do not function.
Transmission began slipping in summer of 2023. Recall was already open on car and current when taken to dealership. Dealership refused to service, closed recall as corrected without inspecting the vehicle correctly. Transmission has gotten worse.

The car will not register the brake activation to be able to start the vehicle. Hence, we have a broken car that now doesn’t work.
I was driving in town, alternator decided to quit working, car went into limp mode on a busy street and I was nearly rear-ended.

My engine light came on I had it checked out and found out it was my mass air flow sensor. Is this a normal problem or is it related to the recall under electrical?.
Car won't start, stranded in parking lots, on road. Have seen hundreds of complaints about the same thing ,saying it's either a brake switch or ignition switch. Very scary to be stranded somewhere. Nissan is aware and said it's common problem? hard to believe Nissan or the NHTSA does not believe this to be a safety issue.

The door lock actuators on both of my rear doors suddenly no longer work. When I hit the button to lock all doors, only my 2 front doors lock. My cars 3 year warranty expired about 5 months ago and I have under 19,000 miles on the odometer. This is a safety issue. What if a carjacker walked up to my car while I’m in it, I lock the doors, and my back doors don’t lock. I could be killed. Not only that, but my car alarm does not even trigger when I open the back door after locking the car with my key fob!!! and, I cannot find any 3rd party manufacturers of the needed replacement parts for this issue!!! so Nissan makes additional money off customers who have no other option than to purchase their defective parts for replacement, and the owner remains stuck with the same defective oem parts after paying hundreds (thousands?) for the required repairs. So Nissan is incentivized to not fix this problem, as they instead make more money off of it. Do a quick google search and other 2020+ Sentra owners are experiencing the same issue. Unacceptable. Nissan needs to manufacture a replacement version of these door lock actuators that are not defective and issue a recall. Thank you for your time.
I took my car into the dealership for a recall repair and the following day, I started having situations where the I push the pedal down and the car would not initially move but then would "catch" and begin driving again. What is happening now however is that while I am driving, the car appears to shut off (headlights turn off and all of the lights come on the dash) and then all of the lights on the dash go off, headlights turn back on, and then the car "restarts" and continues to drive.

I had this car for seven months and in June 13,2024 car failed and caused accident. Prior to the accident the car was shutting off in traffic . Then June 13,2024 caused accident when going to work car lost control due to computer issues. My vehicle camera and reporter recorded the whole thing and my foot was on break all way to accident. State farm insurance has a recorder and was shown. I'm reporting that before crash air bags sprayed out steam and burnt my arm. The airbags failed to deploy. When car was bounced on flate bed truck they deployed, not until then I was injured with burnt face and arm and cut knee. Please acknowledge to Nissan. I told them but they didn't report issue or investigated. The Nissan central have tie rod problems.

Window child locks randomly locks windows in position. There's no reason for it to lock them. I've never tried to engage them on purpose since I have no children. Sometimes pushing the child lock hard several times will allow them to unlock but it may lock in that position so I really can't use 3 windows.
I bought my car in june23 I’ve been having a lot of issue with the car dealership fail uphold there end of the contract.
Our Nissan Sentra with 106k miles the car lost nearly all power as my son was turning onto the freeway. He could only drive 16 miles an hour and it was hopping and jumping through a 8 lane freeway/highway intersection while he tried to get into a parking lot off the road. He turned it off, waited 5 minutes, and turned it back on, but it was still slowly hopping and jumping. After another 10 minutes my husband drove it for about 10 minutes and it operated normally. This same behavior happened in 2019 with 82k miles at a large intersection. It suddenly lost power and slowly hopped through the intersection. At 60k the cruise control buttons on the steering wheel quit working. When we asked the Nissan dealership about it, we were told that was typical and it would slowly lose all the functionality of the steering wheel controls. All the functionality was gone by 70k miles. We have learned that Nissan's transmissions are very problematic and these situations are typical as you get closer to 120k miles. We planned to have this car for several more years. If we sell it and buy a different car we are out several thousand dollars or if we keep it we will likely have to pay for a new transmission also several thousand dollars.

Only the drivers window works. The passenger and 2 rear windows won't go up or down.
There has been numerous battery drains, can't charge phone without draining battery. I got and error code p062f internal control module eeprom. Error. And a battery power supply error code.
The car keeps throwing a p0101 code. The maf sensor has been replaced and the throttle body has been clean and the engine light and code keep showing up. It is causing acceleration issues making it dangerous to start moving or going fast to get up to speed on the interstate.

Unknown, icc module is out on Sentra is known issue from Nissan, needs to be recalled as it can cause some cars to brake on there own from what I’ve seen online. Nissan wants over 2000 to make repair on a part they know from the factory is likely to fail.
The contact owns a 2018 Nissan Sentra. The contact stated that the vehicle failed to start immediately, and the contact had to depress the brake pedal several times before the vehicle would start. The contact stated that the start time varied. There were no warning lights illuminated. The contact stated that the battery was replaced; however, the failure persisted. The dealer was contacted; however, the vehicle was not taken to the dealer to be diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 51,000.
This happened to me a total of 3 times. Low fuel light does not come on. First time I had 32 miles until empty no low fuel light came on, car stopped battery light came on. Tried to jump the car and it did not start. Put in some premium gas and it started. Second time same thing happened car slowly stopped and battery light came on. Tried to jump the car did not start, put gas in but this time it didn't start, had to get the car towed. Battery was tested and fine. Mechanic said he believes it is the gas gage being incorrect. Third time this happened today, February 3,2024 50 miles until empty pulled out into the middle of the road and my car stopped. I was in the middle of the road with cars beeping at me. I could not move my car. Battery light came on. Police came and put some gas in the car and it started. This is a dangerous thing happening and thankfully I am okay and it could have been alot worse. Please have this issue looked into and fixed. I will be bringing my car into the dealer Monday for this issue to be resolved hopefully.
I started hearing a swishing noise like water, I didn't think anything of it till I opened my back driver side door and heard the swishing again. My friend lifted the weather stripping on bottom of door and a-lot of water came gushing out. It had rained alot that year. This could cause electrical issues and body rot. Also my car wont start due to not recognizing the fob. I have to disconnect battery snd reconnect to start my car from time to time.
Radio turns on intermittently when the car is not on. Drains battery. Has caused the car to not start several times and left my daughter on the side of the road.
First incident I was driving and my dashboard turned off all the speedometers went to zero all lights turned off. I was able to safely pull over and as I pulled over my dash came back on with malfunction lights flashing - I took pictures tried to get the dealership to duplicate it and they could not. Second incident is my radio, auxiliary ports and center dash screen. After a couple of malfunctions where the radio would turn off and come back on, it finally completely turned off and will not turn back on. I cannot use the radio, back up camera, nor auxiliary ports. Took it to 3 different dealerships where the last one was able to duplicate it due to it not turning back on. Ordered the radio it's on back order with no eta! brand new 2023 just a year old.
While driving, car brakes by itself. There were no cars in front or behind. Red light flash on dashboard and then snatched brakes by itself. Another time, someone came close behind me and my car stopped by itself again nearly causing the driver to run into the back of me. Sensor light come on. Doesn't recognize my key. It's been reset but same problem.
Left front vibrations and steering issues. Also start button won't engage even after repair. Trouble stating car and interferes with remote starting.
The contact owns a 2018 Nissan Sentra. The contact stated that while driving approximately 40 - 45 mph and attempting to accelerate, the vehicle revved roughly before accelerating forward. The contact stated that while driving for approximately 20 minutes at 20-25 mph accelerating uphill, the vehicle suddenly stalled. The contact was able to restart the vehicle and continue driving after approximately 5 minutes. The battery failure warning light illuminated, along with the check engine and oil failure warning lights. The vehicle had been taken to the dealer where they had not diagnosed the cause of the failure. The vehicle had not been repaired. The manufacturer had not been made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 50,800.
The car began to jerk when driven. One day, it stopped working; the engine was still running but it wouldn't shift gears. The transmission was repaired, and several parts were replaced. However, the car still jerks when reaching 50 miles per hour, the horn doesn't sound, not even the alarm, and it makes a loud noise when making a tight turn.
