I am a professional fire investigator. This vehicle fire originated with the headlight assembly. The burn patterns clearly indicate this to be the area of origin and the supporting burn patterns indicate the fire originated in the headlight assembly. Even though this recall does not specifically address a possible fire hazard, I believe the fire is related to the recall problem.
