Tl- the contact owns a 2011 Nissan Sentra. The contact stated that there was an intermittent failure of the vehicle stalling with no warning. In addition, as the failure was progressing the vehicle may not start. Assuming this may be an electrical problem I could not start it has plenty of voltage. Manufactureddefect of March 11th for same model only one month shy of the recall from April 11th are you sure this manufacture date doesn't have a recall as other built one month later?lve only had for 2 months and I'm already having an issue. Bought from hertz car sales in roseville, can. Not starting all the time just getting a click so ruling out the starter not happy.
Nissan Sentra engine control module (ecm) & positive battery terminal cable (pbtc) - VIN missing from inclusion in multiple campaign numbers replacement of my ecm completed in December of 2016 by woodfield Nissan in hoffman estates, IL (invoice attached). Now my positive battery terminal cable needs to be replaced (invoice not yet issued as car is still in the possession of the service station of m'lady Nissan in crystal lake, IL). In line with campaign numbers 10v555000 & 11v579000. My VIN number is not associated with either of these campaigns. I fear for my safety and the safety of others in regards to oversight of my vehicle's exclusion and possibly other consumers as well as the recall notes there possibility for the engine to stop running while driving increasing the risk of a crash. My vehicle had a no start in both instances prompting the need for repairs. Also, vehicle has experienced power drains/fluctuation while idling and driving (can be confirmed by m'lady Nissan in crystal lake, IL). Dealer service center indicated no issue with the starter or alternator and completed a full start-up check. Mileage at time of ecm replacement: 77,647 mileage at time of pbtc replacement: 79,801.

My 2001 Nissan Sentra gxe started sputtering in Feb 05, also an electrical buzzing sound would occur at the same time. The car stalled out once while driving. Taken to dealership and I was told the ecm was bad. It was replaced free of charge (hidden 8yr/80,000 mile warranty on that part). The next day it was doing the same thing. I took it back to the dealership and the starter/ecm sensor was replaced. I'm still not convinced the problem is fixed and worry every time I drive it.

My starter in my 1997 Nissan Sentra is always messing up!! I have had to replace it four times within one year. I thought it was the battery, so I even replaced that. But at the end, it is always the starter that fails. I put the key in, turn it to start, and the car just hisses. This is the fourth time this has happened. I am severly convinced that there is somewort of starter/electrical defect that no one (Nissan authorities) have reported. Even my mechanic thinks it's odd that he has had to replace it 4 times. I put 20 failures because it been around 20 times when it would not start, then it would, id get it towed, and get a new starter eventually.
