Nissan Titan owners have reported 1 problem related to automatic stability control (asc) (under the suspension category). The most recently reported issues are listed below. Also please check out the statistics and reliability analysis of Nissan Titan based on all problems reported for the Titan.
The vehicle started exhibiting very loose steering behavior and a "clunking" noise from the front end. The steering wheel has play from 45deg turned to the left to 45deg turned to the right without affecting the direction of travel. The stability control would attempt to keep the vehicle moving in a straight line when turned to the left or right, regardless of speed (<25mph - 70mph) on dry, warm roads. When the stability control attempted to keep the vehicle moving straight through a turn, it was necessary to quickly apply the brakes to keep the vehicle from leaving the road surface. The vehicle in question had between 1500 and 2500 miles during this time.
