This happened twice in the last couple of days. I've replaced my battery and it died for second time! thankfully I was on the city street both times. Both times I waited awhile tried to start up with no success, but it started only afterwards getting a jump start!? the battery is brand new and the hope of finding the answer is websites at lease in the hopes of some answer and directions. 5 Car Stall problem of the 2016 Nissan Titan

Failure Date: 03/02/2019

I have taking my truck to the dealer so many times to be told the def system gauge can not be fixed. All the trucks have this issue. I applied for the lemon law and was refused. Now the latest was the coolant was causing the truck to loose power because as I was told by the dealer it's normal for it to evaporate a half a gallon in 18 months. Seems a little strange to me. In the meantime I still have to pack around def because I never know how much I have. The truck has many issues. Also the running boards was never installed on the truck. The dealer actually charged me for a set which is not the oem set then reimburse for the cheaper set.

6 Car Stall problem of the 2016 Nissan Titan

Failure Date: 11/26/2018

When accelerating the vehicle gets stuck at apx 30rpm. It will stop complete acceleration for apx a minute and then will pick up speed. This continues to happen and has almost put me in two accidents getting hit at intersection and entering on to a ramp, and stalling in traffic on a busy street. I have reported to west texas Nissan and corporate. The vehicle was returned once to me without correcting it and it did it again with a mechanic test driving with me. It is currently in dealership again for the last 40 plus days with them saying they cant detect what it is. I would mention a new engine had to be replaced on this truck with in a month of new purchase. This issue is a safety concern yet Nissan continues to say they cant pick up a code for it. I have videos of it happening and a Nissan mechanic that drove it with me.

7 Car Stall problem of the 2005 Nissan Titan

Failure Date: 11/01/2018

The ipdm (intelligent power distribution module has failed four times on this vehicle. When failure occurs the vehicle will stall, not crank, and runs rough. This has happened in traffic many times with these failures. This creates a hazardous situation. I never know when this failure is going to occur. There seems to be something causing these premature failures of this module.

10 Car Stall problem of the 2017 Nissan Titan

Failure Date: 03/08/2018

To whom it may concern I was driving with slightly less than 1/4 tank of gas and stopped to park on a hill with vehicle on idle. While in idle on the hill the vehicle stalled out. I tried to restart but the engine just cranked with no start and a low pressure fuel system service light came on. I tried to push it down the hill on flat ground and tried to start again with just cranking no start. I then had to push the vehicle with the help of my neighbors into a guest stall and call for a tow. The vehicle was towed to tony Nissan to be looked at where the mechanic said that there were no issues and he reviewed all the fuel system and no issues were found. He informed me he let the vehicle crank over until the pump was able to pick up fuel and purge the line of air and the car started. The service advisor informed me of the fuel tank being longitudinally placed in the truck with fuel pump in the center which stopped to idle on a hill may have caused the pump to go dry and pump air. I informed him that this could be an issue if I was driving up or down a hill with my family and then stop and idle whereby the truck stalls out on a hill of such magnitude like in san francisco or wilhemina rise in honolulu, hi. Hopefully this is reviewed by the engineers at Nissan motor which this email is also being forwarded to NHTSA. Invoice number, I believe, from tony Nissan is 653922.

11 Car Stall problem of the 2010 Nissan Titan

Failure Date: 10/28/2017

2010 Nissan Titan pro-4x uncontrollably accelerated without driver input, resulting in a collision. I was driving down an aisle in a parking lot and began to apply the brake to slow down and turn left into a parking stall. Just as my vehicle was about to come to a stop and park, the engine revved (it felt/sounded like full throttle), the tires squealed and launched the vehicle forward resulting in a collision with a vehicle parked in the opposite stall. Because my foot was already on the brake pedal I managed to quickly depress it all the way and at least reduce the severity of the impact. To date, this is the first and only occurrence of a problem associated with vehicle speed control/accelerator.

18 Car Stall problem of the 2005 Nissan Titan

Failure Date: 12/27/2012

Truck in mid 50's randomly stalls at highway speed and will not restart. All symptoms identical to every other of the many thousands of complaints of ecm/ipdm failure. Nissan claims relay for recall was changed in 2011, that we have no open recall and no other recourse other than to call Nissan America--even for just a replacement relay that costs them pennies. Nissan America says the local dealership must rectify the problem. These huge trucks are stalling at highway speed all over the country. I specifically asked my local dealer to check for this known issue the last time it happened and they kept my truck for a week and changed the battery terminals--for $400 instead of checking the $4. 00 relay. That's retail--it costs them about a quarter. Even with the . 3 hours of labor, it would have been under $90 for me at full retail. Instead, I stalled again at highway speed 3 weeks later. I do not believe for a minute that there have been no deaths directly related to this problem. How has there not been a full investigation and news reports of this frequently reported problem?.

19 Car Stall problem of the 2005 Nissan Titan

Failure Date: 09/05/2012

While driving down the highway the truck stalled and lost all power. After getting to the shoulder of the highway, the truck still had battery power and wanted to crank to start but acted like it wasn't getting gas. After calling around we determined thru a Nissan service advisor that we should try filling the tank with gas, even though I was telling him it read between a quarter and half a tank. After putting in 5 gallons and turning the key and cranking it a few seconds, it started right up. It has done this at various times since this first occurence and continues to vary. I now have to keep no less than half a tank of gas at all times or I will suddenly lose power and have to pull off. Nissan has a voluntary safety recall campaign 2005-2009 armada and Titan fuel gauge inaccuracy, campaign id#r1010 & NHTSA#10v-074, but say that it does not include my VIN. I have tried repeatedly to ask Nissan how this safety campaign does not affect my vehicle if it too has the same problem, as I've been told its the fuel sending unit which is what this recall campaign covers.
