2004 Nissan Titan was brought in for exhaust maintenance. Upon inspection, mechanics noticed axle seal leaks on both rear tires. Nissan dealer offered to replaced seals although vehicle is 7000 miles out of warranty. When warranty work was initiated, dealer then stated that both rear axles were now damaged due to the faulty axle seals. Nissan offered no coverage for the axles, and stated that axle seals could still be replaced under warranty but would only act as a "bandaid" for about 1000 miles before leaking would happen again. At this point nothing has been done to correct the problem.
