Also please check out the statistics and reliability analysis of Plymouth Grand Voyager based on all problems reported for the Grand Voyager.
At certain times the serpentine belt will slip off of the pulleys and quit powering the alternator, water pump, and power steering pump. This can be worsened by rainy conditions. Changing belt tensioner works for a year or two.

So far this vehicle has been a lemon. I have replaced everything on it, from fuel pump, sensors, steering column, belt tensioner and pulley, alternator, wiper switch that seems to have a mind of its own even tho I replaced a new switch. Now more electrical problems. The instrument cluster is now messed up. Abs light and check engine light keep coming on all my gauges go flat. Lights go dim. Then suddenly lights will flash and they will all come back on. Then go off again. Now, not only do they go flat but now I have a shifting problem. The vehicle will not shift. It seems to be stuck in 2nd gear. I replaced the whole braking system. Egr valve, cam sensor, cruise control, the body. The gas pedal use to accelerate on its own. That was a little scary goin down the road not knowing when it was gonna do that. Everyone who rides with me keeps joking as if the vehicle is haunted. Lights go weak, I've replaced all the bulbs cleaned the headlights. Nothing seems to work right on this vehicle. I've already invested thousands. Way more then its worth. I've had problems where the vehicle just refuses to start. Sometimes not a problem. Then usually in the cold it wont turn over at all. I have replaced the battery numerous times checked for codes. Airbag light would come on. Transmission hesitates. Sometimes vehicle shudders acts like its gonna quit. Vehicle just has on going problems.

: the contact stated since the vehicle was purchased in 2002 from an independent dealer, the vehicle has been having on going problems with the electrical wiring, alternator, radiator, thermostat, cooling system. Diagnostic testing is needed for gross pollution. The vehicle has failed under fair weather conditions three times since purchase. Events leading up to the failures of the fan, radiator and transmission occurred when vehicle started to run hot, causing transmission to blow out. Service for these components were performed at an independant auto shop.
Multiple electrical problems/repairs including 3 alternators/ 12 wire harness/ 3 map sensors/ 1 O2 sensor, and main computer replacement. Still being serviced to correct problem of stalling out/hesitating all described as driveability problem.
Multiple elect. Problems with car: (3) alternators, wire harness(#12), replaced main computer, (3) map sensors, (1) O2 sensor, cruise control inoperable.
Serpentine belt tensioner bolt sheared off, resulting in loss of power steering/ engine cooling/ and alternator function. Very difficult to repair as to limited engine compartment clearance.

Engine shuts down repeatedly when decelerating; loss of power steering, brakes; may or may not restart immediately. O2 sensor, battery, ignition cables, belt drive & tensioner, 60k service, 3 service visits: problem still occurs, but less often. Twice, nearly lost control as ps & pbs failed in a turn; engine shuts down particularly while decelerating or braking, as in turns and at traffic lights. Worse when ac was on. Sounds to me as if an ignition controller shuts down under low voltage ("brown-out") conditions.
Chrsler dealer refuses to provide copy of service bulliten no. 070299, NHTSA item sb606159 concerning serpentine belt slipping off tensioner idler pulley.
