Bent frame: 2012 Subaru Impreza sport, awd w/pzev, ordered 03/2012 new from joseph Subaru, florence, ky, w/42228 to date 09/27/19. Original complaints described to dealer and manufacture include: *when ordering thought the car had a higher road clearance for rural driving from pictures on internet, *driving car it wanders over the road, *tires deflate (wore out before 20,000 mi. , saved to replace @ sears, mi 23850 in 04/2016), some *paint chipped off, w/*sluggish 'transmission' & 'braking system,' & belt or screech noise upon start-up (no assistance from manufacturer & dealers who denied problems). With unresponsive joseph Subaru dealer/service being 75 miles drive 1-way, so by 6/12/12 took car to dealer neil huffman service (nhs), louisville, ky, ~22. 4 mi 1-way, for service & hoped for help w/original complaints: new complaints; *masters cylinder & *coolant are topped-off w/most oil changes as fluids seem to evaporate, *windshield fogs-up unless a window is open, engine overheated & lost oil after 3rd oil change (seemingly due to valvoline ow20 synthetic oil of 08/07/2013, so replaced w/synthetic oil stabilizer), windshield wiper fell off & piece of body-part bumper cover was falling off; plus had to replace battery & alternator @ 22767 mi. Had to take car to a local/reputable repair service (morton's) to get reimbursed from sears tire/auto center for nhs, reporting, on 01/2019, the sears tires had been mounted improperly, also showed rear-brakes need replaced, hundreds of dollars of maintenance needed done & the car has 2 recalls. However, after morton's fixed the improperly mounted tires, asked if I had trouble w/the alignment of the vehicle (y) or if it had been in a accident (n), then informed the car has a *'bent frame. ' my vertigo got worse, so I have not been able to get back to ky for the recalls, & confused & bummed-out about the bent-frame. What can I do?.

Mikes garage in goshen did my inspection in oct. Inspecting my car he let me know I needed a serpentine belt because it was cracked and would most likely last 3 months. On Nov 29th I drove home from chester and the car broke down. On Nov 30th I towed it to the mechanic and I rented a car. He told me it was the belt issue and I needed an oil change. Car was ready for pickup on 12/3. On 12/8 the car broke down in middletown and it was towed to Subaru. On 12/10 Subaru told me that the car diagnosis was a blown engine due to no oil. If I wanted to have it completely checked they would charge 1000 to take it apart and properly diagnosis it. I gave them the ok to do so. On 12/17 I went to mikes garage and showed him the estimate from Subaru and asked him what was going to be done on his part. He said he had cameras to see the proper oil change and what was supposed to be reliable for my engine since he did what was supposed to be done. He told me about the recall on my car and that I should look into it. Week of the 17th of December I called Subaru and a case was opened for me. She called me back on December 27th her name was ms. Quinn and said they couldn't do anything for me because I had taken it to this outside mechanic. They offered me a 500 coupon towards a brand new car. Lol! the first week of Jan I reached out to Subaru again to speak to a mgr. After reviewing the case and reaching out to Subaru he stated that he could not assist because the engine had failed due to no oil per Subaru. He also stated that the recalled part was not broken in my Subaru. At this point I had already spoken to mike who stated he had an engine for me to place in car for 500. I gave him the ok out of desperation. Mike in goshen called Feb 1st to let me know car was done we picked it up on Saturday the 9th and on Tuesday the 12th the car had leaking fluids and currently is not drive-able.

The contact owns a 2002 Subaru Impreza. When the contact started the vehicle, there was a burning oil odor. When the accelerator pedal was depressed, the rear of the vehicle began to emit a loud vibrating noise. The contact took the vehicle to a certified mechanic who diagnosed that the exhaust from the convector rear muffler, gasket bolt, and dry belt needed to be replaced. In addition, the front subframe was rotted and the head gaskets were fractured, which caused an oil leak. All the parts needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failures. The approximate failure mileage was 75,000.

2012 Impreza. . . Bought new, nothing but headaches. All problems listed below occurred before I had even owned the car 2 years. 1. At 8-10k miles - while driving car would randomly turn off passenger airbags and illuminate no passenger seatbelt on the dash. Took car to dealer 3 times. Dealer refused to fix as the "error was not stored in the computer. " suggested cell phone was the problem even though cell phones were not near the seat during each of the multiple incidents. I had to complain to corporate who told the dealer to replace the sensor in the seat. No problems since. 2. At 15k miles - multiple times car would turn on check engine light and traction control light simultaneously. First incident dealer said "dirty camshaft sensor. " second incident I had to refuse to take the car back until they actually fixed a part. Dealer kept car a whole week and made calls to corporate engineers. Tests revealed it was a "failed oil pressure valve. " replaced the part and no more problems. 3. At 25k miles - bad battery. Had to replace when car was only 1 year and 10 months old.
