There is an airbag recall with no remedy available. I’m very concerned about driving my car without this being fixed. Toyota shows the parts should have been available by now. How can they allow this to go unfixed when they are putting lives at risk? I called my dealer and they said it wasn’t fixable yet.

I had just gotten off work and turned on my car. I put my seatbelt on and that's when a message popped up on my dash saying "srs airbag system malfunction. Visit your dealer". I was a bit concerned and worried and so when I started driving home, it still displayed that message and it started to beep as I drove more. It also makes it seem like my seat belt isn't buckled even when it was. I had gotten it checked out at a mechanic and they say it has to do with the driver seat belt buckle.

This not only places me at risk of airbag and braking failure, but puts other drivers and pedestrians at great danger due to the potential for system failure during high-risk moments such as highway driving, stoplight braking, or crash avoidance maneuvers. A broader investigation into the root cause and expansion of the affected VIN scope is urgently needed before serious injury or loss of life occurs.

I rear ended a stopped tractor pulling a hay baler at 50 mph. My braking system sent no alerts nor did it brake for me. May airbags did not deploy. I sufferered a broken hand as a result of the impact.

My airbags didn’t deploy when chevy silverado truck and collided into front end drivers side. Speed was 35 mph whole hood of my car is shifted and drives side front end is demolished. It’s been reported to at fault insurance and is supposed to go into body shop on the 16th of June. So available for inspection until then? there is a police report but not sure about inspection? no warnings or messages. I have whiplash and possible concussion.
