Vehicle is leaking a large amount of water/condensation on my passenger side front seat which is causing mold/mildew. I asked Toyota to take a look at it, they stated it’s not a manufactured or engineered problem, which it actually is. That is not part of a schedule maintenance issue. Wanted to charge me to take a look at it and I have an extended warranty.

I am the original owner of my car since the end of 2007. For some strange reason, my car just suddenly started to show large signs of rust on the roof. This is apparently a very common issue with the similar timeframe of model years. This is a manufacturing defect from the beginning as Toyota did not properly paint the car properly.

While driving approx. 35-40 mph driver impacted front left side with a stop sign post . Causing very little body damage but completely ripped the control arm out of the sub frame which caused an unreasonable amount of other significant damages . The axle broke off at the transmission . These 3 parts alone costing almost 2500$ plus labor to repair. It ripped part of my bumper cover which had to be replaced and dented the fender which is being repaired . Had the cars subframe held up in what should have been a minor incident none of the other parts would have been affected the way the were. I had the car inspected and aligned at the Toyota dealership and was directed by two employees to file this complaint. They too felt the sub frame shouldn't have ripped apart like it did. Had I been involved in a collision with another car my car would have crumbled . Trading it in as soon as its repairs are complete . Scares me to think what would've happened if my child were with me.

I was at a complete stop, when I was rear ended by a driver going approximately 40mph. The impact shoved me into the car in front of me as well. None of my airbags went off and the insurance adjusters believe the car is totaled. I had a previous accident where I was t-boned in drivers side and none of the airbags went off at that time either.

Hi, I purchased my car in Feb 2017. But before 9 months back, it starts to have bubbles on all perimeter of the windshield. And currently have too many bubbles on that perimeter. My current car milage is 33,000 only so, I talked to Toyota care regarding this but they denied handling this as they said this is outside of the warranty period. But I feel that this is a manufacturing defect. And that must be resolved by Toyota as there is no user reason for this bubbling happens. This happens when any manufacturing defect. Also, when I searching for a reason for such bubbling, I found that the Ford car also has some issues in 2014. And Ford made a correction on this. (ref: https://static. Nhtsa. Gov/odi/rcl/2011/rcmn-11v445-9034. Pdf) let me know if any other information is required from my end.
I am writing with concern to see if the recall on my daughters 2003 Toyota air bag issue was truly fixed, she was involved in a traffic accident where according to everyone's opinion the airbags should have went off however they did not. Is there any way to see if the recall work was actually done by the company who states they did the repair ??.

I was driving on the highway merging onto rt3 from I-95-s towards cape cod by south quincy area. The car in front of me stopped suddenly and I slammed on my breaks, the car behind me ended up rear-ending my car which resulted in me hitting my head on my heat rest which resulted in whiplash. The woman who hit me claimed she called the police and said that the cop told her we need to exchange licenses and registrations. We did exactly that but not phone number or anything. After we exchanged, she took off right away. The car that stopped in front of me left the scene right away. This was my first accident so I did not know what to do but now I am realizing that she may never have called the police considering that no one showed up and this happened on the highway.
Air bags didn't deploy when I had an accident.

I was hit from behind by a speeder in which caused significant damages to my vehicle. No airbags deployed. I was advised when purchasing this car that Toyota connects detects crashes and that the emergency system would call the car. Unfortunately, not only did the airbags not deploy but the emergency system didn't not call the vehicle as I was advised. My vehicle has defects and the manufacturer is responsible. I purchased this vehicle brand new thinking it could keep me safe driving. The manufacturer has highly disappointed me and failed to adhere to vehicle safety.

On or about August 12, 2020 the car was enroute from corpus christi, texas to college station, texas. The bumper dislodged from the car and almost feel underneath causing a serious accident. This is a low clearance car with the bottom of the car having an extension causing more difficulty. The car was pulled over to the side of the road and temporarily put in place. The car was taken to autonation Toyota in corpus christi, texas for repair on or about August 15, 2020. Once again, the bumper detached almost causing another accident on or about June 3, 2022. The car was taken in again for repair with auto nation Toyota corpus christi on or about June 3, 2022 and the pins were replaced. The pins did not hold and the dealership was notified immediately. An appointment was made to secure the pins for June 20, 2022. The dealership stated another bumper needed to be purchased. This appears to be a very serious design flaw causing the bumper to detach easily. The bumper consequently goes under the car with low clearance and potentially causing a serious accident with a potential inability to control the car when the bumper dislodges and goes under the car. This hazard is not only for the driver of the car but others drivers on the road as well.

I have an aftermarket webasto hollandia 700 sunroof that got recalled for "in the event of a seperation, the falling glass could create a road hazard or strike a trailing vehicle and cause a crash. " the glass for the moonroof fell apart from the vehicle and is gone unfortunately. I was trying to buy the glass from Toyota with the help from my auto body shop "kuroda auto body inc. " when they were buying the oem glass form Toyota in California. Thus they cant fix the car because they cant get the glass and oem doesnt fit except webasto. It says that webasto will be providing the recalls but the only problem is that I live in hawaii and there are no webasto dealers in hawaii, closest is in California with like 8 locations, thats the closest for us, pay for living in paradise I suppose. Im okay with the parts being shipped to me or to my autobody shop that can do it and of course webasto paying for the labor fees for the recall. Im open to paying for shipping costs if they agree because I dont know if a recall pays for shipping. I need a new glass, thats the only thing missing, mechanism works and moves but its corroded and I wouldnt mind for a whole new set if possible. In the pictures it is between the VIN number of the sunroof model under the recall. I think it was fix before from one of the pictures saying it was claimed already from my Toyota VIN number, but apparently if it was fix this wouldnt have happened again so another recall fix I think this may be.

Multiple issues with the dealership over a timeframe of a few years that continues to deteriorate. Most recently, lack of dealership notification of safety recall, dealership inability to respond to safety recall when notified from a 3rd party site, dealership vehicular inspection incomplete and/or indications of unresolved issues, violation of personal property but dealership emptying center console contents into passenger seat unnecessarily (no business reason to do so), inspection results of most recent visit entailed video inspection of rust accumulation near notated brake area with no direction or instruction - beyond the driver noticing a driving problem of vibration - to which the instruction was a dealership process of rust build up removal by a machine (no internal communication within dealership of issue, notification to driver or those serving the driver to share issue and recommendations, prompting was the result of driver requesting clarification at dealership). The safety recall for this vehicle came through carfax (not from the dealership or dealership means - but as a result of attempting to sell the vehicle). The safety recall involved an issue with the seat belt & air bag deployment, and when driver contacted local dealership months ago- dealership stated that there was no remedy, and was not notified when one became available. The most recent oil change visit "claims" to have addressed the problem, at the request of driver. This incident request is three-fold: (1) address safety recall communication and process with dealership; (2) address vehicular maintenance, oil change, service, and inspection process and interaction with drivers; and (3) recommend to me (the person completing this complaint) a specific motor vehicle location (including company name, management, and mechanic) where the vehicle can be adequately assessed for safe driving.

My son and I were in a head on collision. The other car was at fault. Speed for both vehicles was around 35 mph. My 11 year old son was in the rear passenger seat buckled. I was driving. I have a few bruises but am ok. My son is not. He has multiple fractures to his head (right side), right eye socket, spine (upper neck and back). As you can see from the pictures he should not have these injuries. The insurance adjuster said I need to contact an investigator to see what was wrong with the airbag to cause these injuries. . We are looking at weeks of hospital and inpatient rehab for him.
Cracked lower control arm passenger side. Cracked right front cv axle. Ball joint has been having excessive play. Right front cv axle losing grease from boot.
On 01-22-20, in austin texas my daughter,[xxx], was killed in a head on collision while she was driving her 2007 Toyota Corolla. The other vehicle that was involved in the head on collision was driving a 1993 Chevrolet silverado pickup. When the vehicles collided my daughter was killed because she was pinned against the steering wheel, unfortunately the airbags did not deploy and save her. The other driver received severe facial injuries. Why didn't her airbags deploy? why did her 2007 Toyota have a high safety rating but yet she was pinned be her steering wheel? information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. S. C. 552(b)(6).

Rear passenger door on left side of vehicle fills with water everytime it rains or vehicle is washed. This is causing the body to prematurely rust and it's also sloshing onto electrical components in door which I fear can cause unpredictable and unforseen components to fail. Also beginning to cause an odor on the interior of vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealership from which it was purchased and they simply pulled a rubber stopper from bottom of door and stated that was the only remedy approved and provided through Toyota. Since said remedy was applied door has plugged on three more occasions and was taken back to dealership on only one of the subsequent incidents at which time was told by a service personnel again that to pull the rubber stopper from bottom of door was their only means of repair. Which was also on the day of that this was written and reported. Water was first heard in the door approximately four four months after purchase but was believed to be the fuel in the fuel tank sloshing around. It was approximately 10 months after purchase it was realized that it was water in rear door.
I was driving down a secluded street at about 20mph when I heard a loyd explosion on my right side of my car. My passenger side mirror had exploded. The mirror itself was shattered and hanging down, the back panel was found in some bushes on the side of the street. I was driving up the street so cars were on my left. There was no one walking past, nor were there any bicycles or anything on the side of the road that could cause such damage. It was very frightening. I spent almost 30minutes walking up and down the street trying to figure out what could have happened and nothing made sense. The mirror did not turn in, as would happen if I had hit something. There is a black mark on my car door from the glass piece slamming into it from the explosion.
Was in a roll-over crash. The vehicle was in motion. None of the side airbags went off on either side of the car and the car rolled three times during the accident.
Was in a roll-over accident. A deer jumped out in front of me so I locked up the breaks and the rear end of the car came out from behind me and I went into a ditch and rolled 3 times.
I can drive is no problem at all.

Front bumper/grill area paint not adhering to front area factory color blizzard pearl white. This area is the factory original paint. No history of damage or repaint. Airbag recall?.
First day after I got the car coming out of my driveway front of the car scraped the ground and the front fender popped off the car. This fender is plastic and was attaced to the car with plastic fasteners. It is a flimsily put together piece of junk. This is a safety issue since fender would come off and hit the car behind you whenever this car hits a slight bump on a highway. This is a design defect since during the 46 years I lived in the same home and owned many cars including 2 Toyota camry, vw rabbit, mustang, Porsche, Mercury sable , 2 cadillacs, 3 buicks and I had no problem of any of these cars scaping ground and loosing a fender. I returned car to the dealer, dayton Toyota on 6/28/19 with a financial loss of $2772. 84. Banning of this Corolla from the roads will save numerous lives. Please act promptly. Deger tunc, ph. D.
On first day of purchase when I came out of my driveway left fender popped out . I took it to the dealer they pushed the fender back in. The next day fender popped out again and I returned the car to the dealer for being unsafe to be driving. Dealer tooked tha car back but kept my $2772. 84. This car is a poorly built unsafe junk.

In March 1 2019 at 840 pm I was driving my Toyota Corolla 2014 heading south on arch street in pittsford vermont. I drove down the road went over a little hill and as I came over the tiny hill in my vision I saw a driving car coming towards me in there appropriate lane, with there headlights on, then I saw a parked car blocking 70 percent of my lane. I had no choice but to hit the parked car. When I hit the car my air bags did not deploy. I don't remember anything after my face hit the steering wheel. My air bags did not deploy! I have broken bones in my face and can't see clearly out of my right eye. I've gone to a eye MD who is a retina specialist and she says I'm not going to be able to see out of my right eye. I do have a lawyer but I believe if I would have known about this defect than I would have had this fixed and would have had the proper deploy of the air bag which then I would not be losing my site. I was going 35 mph.
