Failure of sidewalls of two bridgestone insignia se200 215/65r16 tires at 5693 miles of normal driving conditions on 2006 Toyota Sienna van-dot # ob6ve224711 located on tire sidewall. Tires sold by monro shop # 190 in christianburg, va. Same tire brand, model and size replaced at shop #349 in cheshire, CT at cost of road hazard coverage contract at cost of $87. 80 to cover all four tires. I am very concerned that the other two tires purchased at the same time with the same dot designations may also develop sidewall bulges and be the cause of a serious accident. Is there a manufacturing defect on this tire that should be looked into?.

Tire seemed out of balance at narrow range of speeds (60-65mph), but smooth at 68mph for months; recently noticed vehicle rocking when cold and at low speeds; today saw an outward bulge in rear tire tread (directionally outward from axle). Am seeking a replacement tire before tread separation.

Found out on September 16, 2005 that the tires were extremely worn. Out. Took the vehicle to the dealer for an oil change and the mechanic had the consumer come out and look at the tires, and said the tires must be replaced. The indication for the tires never gave any notice that the inflation was not proper. There was no vibration, or abnormal bulging and this vehicle is serviced regularly at the Toyota dealer. These are bridgestone ran flat tires, they have premature wear, had replace all four tires. Had maintained the tires according to the Toyota maintence plan. They did not want to replace the tires because they could not issue a tire warranty. Consumer wanted states that the mechanic's recommendation that all four tires be replaced. There was wear on the inside of the tires and iwasnot visible from outside. Consumer wanted to believe that Toyota was going to help him, but it was at his expense.
