Takata recall, airbag inflators, power window master switch, seat rail my Toyota Yaris 2007 has three uncompleted safety recalls. One of them is related to the airbag inflators, which are "defective and could rupture, creating a risk of personal injury or death. " I contacted "bill kidds Toyota Volvo cars" several times in the last few weeks to remedy the safety recalls for my vehicle, but noone responded to schedule an appointment for me yet.

Takata recall my Toyota Yaris has had recalls 1) the front passenger airbag inflator 2) power window master switch 3) driver side seat track assembly & passenger seat track assembly 4) safety recall e0m - remedy notice various models - spiral cable basically, the driver's airbag is damaged and can possibly fail to deploy. The passenger airbag is a bomb, the windows can cause smoke and fire in my car and both driver and passenger seats can snap off the railing causing people in the vehicle to slide forward or backwards (with no airbag protection) in the case of an accident. This vehicle is a death trap - and when I called to schedule the recalls at my local Toyota dealership I was told it will take over 30 days for the parts to arrive. When I asked what I am supposed to do about driving my family around in my vehicle the representative said that Toyota only "recommends" you don't drive passengers. Is this seriously how Toyota will deal with their customers? my car should be completely recalled with these sort of issues. These are not minor issues.

This recall has been in effect for more than two years with no remedy provided. I also am concerned about takata airbags that may be in my vehicle, but I don't see a recall notice (although I regularly receive mail about potential takata airbag recalls). The power window master switch in the involved vehicles may have been manufactured with insufficient lubricant grease. Recall status recall incomplete remedy Toyota is currently preparing the remedy for this condition. Once remedy preparations are complete, Toyota will send an owner notification letter by first class mail to owners of vehicles covered by this safety recall. Additional details on the remedy will be provided in future communications. Safety risk descrpition if sufficient grease is not applied, under certain conditions the switch may develop a short circuit that can cause the switch assembly to overheat and melt. A melting switch can produce smoke and potentially lead to a fire.
We have 25 2007 Toyota Yaris's, 14 of 25 the air bag light stays on. The light comes on at approx 120,000 because of a switch in the steering column, Toyota declines to repair it, and will not give us a straight answer whether it will keep the safety device (air bag) from deploying even though the vehicle has never been in an accident.
