Front Driver Side Air Bag Inflator Problems of Toyota Yaris

I am located in strassen, luxembourg (europe) and take my car to the Toyota dealership (Toyota, 6 zai bourmicht, l8070 bertrange) here for service. I am returning to the united states December 2020 and require all recall issues to be address prior to exit inspection. Upon request to the luxembourg Toyota to address the recall issue on the front passenger airbag inflator, representatives stated they are not obliged to correct this issue nor not provide documentation regarding inability to address the issue. This is a request for assistance in the form of an official written report.

I received a safety recall letter in the mail; the letter stated that there is an issue with my airbag inflators. I tried contacting a few Toyota dealerships, and they made my issue, and more importantly, my safety, seem like it was not their number one priority. They told me that they would have to order new parts but that would take two months. If they received it earlier they said they would give me a call. Several months have gone by, and I haven't received a call. My nearest dealership, bredemann Toyota @ (847) 655-1435 has not call me back for 3 months or so. I received this letter back in January, and it is nearly July. Almost half a year has gone by, and my safety has been at risk every single day. Please contact me at zglowa77@gmail. Takata inflators hello I am a mother of a three year old child and I have been driving my child around in this vehicle for over a year knowing there's a dangerous recall. I have gotten nowhere with any Toyota place because they never have the parts and are waiting for them. This problem could be potentially fatal and it upsets me greatly that I can't get it fixed and having my child in this small car with this huge issue. Please help me to this fixed!.

Takata inflators. I was notified by Toyota about the recall over a month ago. According to the recall I am in high risk zone because I live in south florida. I have yet to hear from them about getting a replacement. This is very scary and wrong. My kids are always in the passenger seat when I drive them places and are in mortal danger. When are these recalls going to be remedied? is there a time limit? I shouldn't be expected to put my passengers in danger everytime I drive.

Takata recall: nothing happened to my airbags however I live in south florida and I am worried because in the recall letter it says that "time in service until significant propellant degradation may occur projected at between 6-9years" and I have owned this vehicle 6 years, plus live in one of the hottest part of the country where this year we had record high temperatures. The recall letter states that "the propellant in these inflators may degrade after prolonged exposure to high absolute humidity and fluctuating high temperatures". Miami has the most humid and in the highest temperatures in the country.

Takata inflators--front passenger side. We have received a recall notice that advises our 2010 Yaris 4 door vehicle is not to have passengers in the front passenger seat until inflator is replaced. No date for replacement is currently scheduled. This is going on 90 days and is most inconvenient.

Got newsletter from Toyota 6/9/2016 about recall on air bags takata front passenger airbag inflator zones a and b - parts were never done. . . First I was told part was not in, that I would called, never happen. . . . . . . Please update on this. . . .

It has been over six months since I was notified that my front passenger air bag component needs repaired/replaced (this is due to the takata airbag inflators). In the meantime, nobody is able to sit in the front passenger seat. This is a major inconvenience, especially given the smaller size of the model of the car - losing one passenger seat makes a difference, especially for an adult who would normally sit there instead of the back! we have had to adjust how our family travels for over six months. I feel that this issue needs to be corrected immediately or we should be provided with a comparable, *fully usable* vehicle in the meantime.

Takata recall my car was recalled may 23, 2016. The documentation we received advised to not have anyone use the front passenger seat since it is the front passenger airbag that is currently under recall. It is now October 28, 2016 and there is still no fix or timeline for the fix available even though I am considered in the 1st wave of fixes where is says take immediate action. How am I supposed to take immediate action if after 5 months there is still no fix available? I contacted the dealership yesterday and they have not heard anything on a timeline either. I am unable to use my vehicle to transport my entire family without the use of the front passenger seat. How long are we expected to have half a car? I must use this car to transport a toddler. How can I be assured that even with no front passenger that she will be safe in her carseat in the backseat? I have read where even the the airbag is not on, the inflator could still have issues in a collision. Is this information correct? I am worried for the safety of my family but I cannot afford a different vehicle at this time, not like anyone would take it as a trade in even if I could afford it.

"takata recall" this recall has been known since may 23, 2016 yet we only received a recall notice at the beginning of January 2017,and no fix is available for the takata air bag inflators on our vehicle. (making this vehicle dangerous far worse then any vehicle without a air bag system). We purchased this vehicle for its safety , but it is not safe. And Toyota has no fix for the issue. . At this time I feel considering this has been know for a long time and nothing has been done to correct the dangers associated with the vehicle, the manufacture should either correct the faulty inflators, provide safe replacement vehicles, or out right purchase the vehicles back from the owners for the owners actual purchase cost. As of January 20th 2017 no notice to correct this potentially deadly situation has been received.

"takata recall" I took my car in to the Toyota dealer (lumberton, n. C. ) to get the takata inflators replaced on both drivers and passenger sides. According to the shop foreman, only the passenger side was replaced. I was told that the dealer did not have the parts to replace the drivers side, and that they would call me when the parts arrived. This was several months ago and have not heard anything since.

I have not received a call from Toyota about the takata inflators . I was told not to use DE passenger seat. Every time I go for a change oil, I asked them when they're going to replace it, and they just answer that they will send a letter to let me know. It's been a while and have not hear from them. It's scary to drive longer distances knowing that. Thanks for your help on this matter.
