The vehicle was repaired. However, the failure recurred. The vehicle was then taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the engine failed due to the tensioner chain fractured and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but did not offer any further assistance. The approximate failure mileage was 80,000. Lt.
