takata recall I made appointments and registered to get my airbag replaced on numerous occasions. In June I made an appointment at the elmwood park location and when I got their the guy lied and said the computers are down he didn't want to help me. They have the parts available and don't want to fix it it is now 2018 and no one from Audi called me and my vehicle is registered with them. So my air bag can rupture at any time I was in a car accident on 1/4/17 I was intentionally rear ended by a white BMW and I was in the car with my 8 year old nephew and mom who was in the front passenger seat I could have been killed and seriously injured. Not only that my gas tank fuel injector the air pressure is off causing it to stop constantly while getting gas. Third I had this p2005 and p2006 error code which is the intake air exchange manifold flap check engine light on which is a manufacturing error when I went to get it replaced costing me 1,800 the light is still on and the same error code is back 2 months later nothing was fixed on my car period and on 10/31/17 I went to Audi in upper saddle river and they did not fix it either of find a dealer with the airbag near by that has the parts to replace it tho could have cost me and my passengers their life and this isn't unacceptable for Audi to treat customers like that regardless of my vehicle being old new or brought from a third party dealership all Audi owners should be treated equally and remedies be address according to law and recall. Being that a safety recall is issued customer preference is null and void because safety and wealth has no bearing in who gets first dibs on airbags no Audi owner should get preference over the other whether it be they brought their car directly from the Audi dealership or not and that the impression I'm getting and based on my experience not all customers and owner are treated equally.

Check engine light only came on once and that is when the intake manifold detected a problem. Audi replaced the intake manifold two times after numerous service visits! the sputter, lag, occurs all the time I even recorded a video but was unable to be rectified.

Two faulty mis fires caused car to misfire and run rough and jolt. Car was towed to the closest Audi dealership for repairs. Subsequently, within the next 9 months, the care again exhibited close to the same symptoms and the car was again towed to the closest Audi dealership. This time, the intake manifold was cracked and was replaced. With a service bulletin out on this vehicle on these exact issues, I was still charged a $250 deductible per incident ($500 total) on my extended warranty to replace both the injectors and the intake manifold. According to the service bulletin, I should not have been charged.

I was driving down georgia avenue when all of a sudden my car began to ride very rough, a dash light came on and the engine lost complete power. I was able to start the car up again and luckily was able to coast down hill to my home. (the car is a 5-speed) smoke was coming out of the tail pipe. I called the dealer in rockville and they suggested that it was probably a coil failure. I had just had a coil replaced in February, when a similar type thing happened on connecticut Ave. During rush hour traffic. That time I was able to coast into a gas station. The car died with no previous warning. All four coils have been replaced (4 cylinder) with no reimbursement from Audi because the car is no longer under warranty. I asked the dealer whether this was one of the recall items that Audi put notice out on and they said no. Now that I read that others have had similar problems with their A4s it seems to me like this is a defect in the system and should be covered by Audi. After all, my dealer told me that Audi changed the coil system on the newer models because of the problem.

The contact stated on April 5, 2005 engine started making loud noises. The contact took the vehicle to a local dealership for regular service and inspection, and the dealer found the head gaskets, mass flow sensors, vacuum hoses, intake manifold gaskets, and the throttle body needed to be replaced. Repairs were made. Four months later the vehicle started making loud noises again. The contact waited another four months before taking the vehicle back to the dealer on December 29, 2005 to have it serviced a second time. This time the dealer discovered the tie rod ends, chain tensioner and the oil coolant lines needed to be replaced. There were never any warning indicators other than the noise indicating a problem. No additional repairs were made. Updated 1/25/2006 -.
