Brake pedal went to floor very slowly. Repaired brakes with all new components; rotors, pads, calipers, new brake fluid. Bled brakes and pedal is still very spongy and pedal will still go down to floor after stopping. Car will not move if you hold the pedal down. Found several complaints on line about spongy brakes on Chevrolet cars. Is there a problem that I can not find for these cars?.

Consumer stated: brakes were squeaking, seemed like braking distance was twice to three times to stop, sometimes had to push all the way to the floor, could feel brake pedal going back and forth. Also, while driving and whether using brakes or not one could hear a rattle of noise. Dealer said calipers were totally defective. Replaced brake pads and rotors.

There has been a constant problem with the brakes since consumer purchased the vehicle. When applying brake pressure the brakes chatter/jump, and shake within the brakes. The vehicle stops when this occurs. This can happen at both high and low speeds when applying brake pressure. This vehicle has been to a dealer numerous times for this problem. The consumer does not know what repairs have been made, but does remember something about calipers and corrosion. This is still a problem. There is a recall on some Chevrolet vehicles involving the abs, but consumer's vehicle is not included in this recall.
