1 Transmission Noise problem of the 2017 Chevrolet Colorado

Failure Date: 03/19/2021

I noticed loud creaking noises on the driver's side of my truck primarily when cornering and going over bumps. I asked ferman Chevrolet (9751 e adamo dr, tampa, FL 33619) to check it out for me. They found that 2 transmission bolts were missing, which they attribute to the noise. I'm not sure if this is something that occurred resulting from poor manufacturing but it seems that this is not something that could/should have occurred through normal use (driving on city roads only about 50 to 100 miles per week) on a 4 year old vehicle with only 30650 miles on it. I looked for recalls for missing transmission bolts for gm products and found that there is one that is possibly a similar issue although only for certain front wheel drive models; n202313440.

2 Transmission Noise problem of the 2019 Chevrolet Colorado

Failure Date: 07/11/2019

At highway speeds of about 60-65 mph the transmission in my 2019 Colorado zr2 v6 automatic (the truck has only 5700 miles on it) has a shudder or shaking problem which shakes the whole truck. It also causes a loud low frequency booming noise. When it started happening it was alarming.
