From onstar: p0087 the engine and transmission system is not performing as expected. An issue has been detected in the engine cooling system which monitors and controls engine temperature to maintain optimal operating temperatures and avoid overheating conditions. If you are driving under normal operating conditions, please check the temperature gauge on the instrument panel. If the needle is in the red warning area, the engine is too hot. Pull off the road, stop the vehicle, and turn off the engine as soon as possible service as soon as possible conditions: driving 30mph, asphault, winter weather.

4 Engine Cooling System problem of the 2014 Chevrolet Cruze

Failure Date: 02/16/2018

Notorious gm issue - transmission cooling lines. Third time mine have been replaced and are now leaking again - suspect in colder climates the part is not holding up and especially susceptible to defects. Fluid leaks out and causes build up on the line, which could potentially be a fire hazard. I have done research and discovered this is a very common issue with this model Cruze. The dealer is asking $400+ to repair what I view is a defective part and design. I have had nothing but problems with this vehicle and this is another problem I am faced to cover the repair bill for a faulty design/product. Gm should be held accountable and stand behind their product with a solution to this issue. Thank you for your time.

10 Engine Cooling System problem of the 2011 Chevrolet Cruze

Failure Date: 05/20/2014

The car has been losing power over the past few months while under warranty. I kept taking it back to the chevy dealership and they said nothing was wrong and reset the light. However now the car will not barely go, I have power but its forced and its as if I have to push the car up the hills to go. I live in pennsylvania so this is not an ideal situation, but I have had my oil changed regularly every 3,000 miles although other issues have occurred with the car like the cooling system and the temp gage this time I have had it checked professionally with an outside consult rather than going to the dealership and they stated that it is my turbo it doesn't work and probably hasn't worked properly on my car.
