My car does not alert me of no or low coolant. Nor does the symbol comes on, on the dash.
I started my vehicle in the morning to let it warm up. I come back out to get myself and my son in the vehicle to go to work and take him to school. My dash upon entry had a check engine light on, and the message it displayed was "engine power reduced. " I put my car into reverse, having no choice but to drive it and the traction control went out. My father in law pulled the code and it said something about the accelerator sensor. This is a known issue and recall in other models and I wanted to report it is also happening in my model.

As I was driving my car in the interstate the car started making noises and began to shake and then it stop driving normally. I did my best to move to the curve and then called a towing truck to get the car. The car transmission stopped working properly. I conducted an analysis on this car in the internet and it has been written that the transmission has a manufacturer's defect. Also, the car dealer did a diagnostics test on the vehicle and proved that the transmission is not responding. The car dealer said the repair is not covered. This car is less than 5 years old. I was driving with an unsafe car. Data indicates that the transmission defects with a transmission fluid leak. I was in a dangerous situation while driving the car in the interstate. There were no warning signs and I believe this can be a dangerous situation for other consumers who may have the same car. The dealer and manufacturer does not want to cover the repair of the transmission since they said there has not been any recalls with the car. I want to put this complaint because I was at risk for something I had no control of. I contacted the corporate office and they told me to take it back to get a second diagnostic. In my opinion I have already done the diagnostic and they will not accept it unless is recent. The diagnostic was done in March 2024. Dealer wants me to pay for the repair. The transmission fluid leak is a problem that appears to be from the manufacturer because a transmission's life should last longer. The car has been undriveable.
The mechanic wedige automotive in elkhorn WI, use ac delco parts, just in this year he installed the rear swaybar links part#45g0403 the same part broke twice and put the same for the third time. The compressor is not on the recall list but for a 2019 to have it failed requiring a new one not even close to the expected 10-12 year mark. This car part can lead to other safety concerns so I believe needs review for a potential recall.
To whom it may concern: I have had my vehicle fixed twice for the same problem . The automotive service shop that fixed it said it was a part called an autonator. It makes a clicking sound when the vehicle shuts off. It has been repaired twice and eventually it starts back. Also one side of the heating system works. When you turn it on one side stays cool and the other side gives the warm air.
Answers to questions from above 1. Evaporator kit 84409864 2. Not a safety issue to my knowledge. 3. Yes, issue was diagnosed and repaired at dealership. (receipt for work - including part numbers will be attached with supporting documents) 4. No, no one outside of the dealership. 5. No warning lights but there was the smell of coolant in the cab of the car. Due to an issue with my 2018 chevy Impala - v6 engine, I had to have the ac evaporator core replaced due to a leak (faulty part). Searching the NHTSA website, I found the below special coverage which seems to match my vehicle perfectly including the issue for which the special coverage was issued. I filed a claim with gm but continue to be told that my vehicle is not covered by this but no reason as to why it isn't covered. *special coverage n182186881 - evaporator core icing, leak *quantity part name part no. *1 evaporator kit 84409864 this is concerning as a consumer as the issue and vehicle description matches the special coverage exactly, yet gm is stating that my vehicle is not covered. This issue clearly extends beyond the number of vehicles affected that was reported. Also, being replaced with the same part (part num) does give me pause that this will be an issue again in the future, costing consumers even more money and time.

The engine electric brakes all shut down steering wheel locked up and my daughter smashed into telephone pole on August 31 2023. Airbags didn't deploy for front and side airbags were deflated no air. No warning lights prior that I'm aware of. My daughter was injured pcs and cervical sprain.
The evaporator core is leaking and a/c system is not operative. There is an outstanding report from your office, dcs4922, that outlines this condition perfectly. This report talks about a special coverage adjustment #n182186881 evaporator core icing, leak, and an estimated number of vehicles involved. Since it is an estimated number of vehicles it means that gm doesn't know exactly how many vehicles are involved. It is my position that my vehicle should be included in the service adjustment. General motors will not consider repair based on my VIN. This special coverage addresses the exact issue I am experiencing. I have visited a chevy Impala public forum and found there are others experiencing the same issue. Any help will be appreciated.
Stability traction control I have had to fix it 3 times once was ball bearing and the other was a wire harness and it has to go in shop again for stability traction issues again also the door blending parts keep failing in my car I have had 3 replaced.

Evaporator core failed. My safety isn't at risk although I get very hot riding in the car without ac. It was confirmed by a dealer. It has not been inspected by police or anyone else other than a dealer. No warning lamps or messages. My 2017 Chevrolet Impala has been without air conditioning since approximately June 2020. I took it to a local Chevrolet dealer and they diagnosed it stating the evaporator core had failed. After doing research online, I found a special coverage adjustment n182186881 on NHTSA. Gov stating that on some 2016-2018 model-year cars, the evaporator core may become damaged and the customer is eligible for it to be replaced at no charge. I never received this paper in the mail saying mine was affected but mine was affected. Due to me having no copy of this, no dealer will fix it free of charge. I am not just looking for a free repair, I am looking for it to be repaired for free specifically due to the fact it has been affected. There is less than 72,000 miles on my vehicle.
When my car is exposed to water (rain, a car wash) the trunk completely floods and does not drain. It has flooded so much now that my amplifier does not work. I took my vehicle to chevy to have the known recall on this vehicle repaired but chevy claims that they will not do anything for me. I am afraid that the car can potentially catch fire and burn my home down as I park this car in my driveway. With this being a known recall for this vehicle, can I please have this fixed immediately!!!! I have already replaced my tools that have been damaged, please just have this fixed or id likely take further steps after this. I have been going back and forth with GMC and chevy for over 7 days now! just recently, my car was producing sparks from the trunk area, this is not good!!!.

I put my car in reverse and the car turned off and have turn back on. When I try to start it, I don’t hear any fix or crank. Before this happened, my car was slow to change gear or it would will change so fast that my car will lose control and I did not feel safe at all.
I was driving and powersteering fluid drained and I lost control of the steering, and guide the car against the side walk. Had a mechanic change the powers steering fluid line. But now it's shooting up instead leaking down, it clogged all my spark plugs ,plus cause my cam shaft and crank shaffsensor to malfunction. ,plus my belt got shredded. And now it's been over a year, and I still can't drive my car cause. It starts all over. And my front wheels are on not good arms, when crash it bent or crack the arms.

My car has had a the side detection modules fail every 1 to 2 years since I've owned the car new in 2014. The dealership has repaired it for free every time now for at least 5 times. Now that the car is not under warranty they refuse to fix it for free. This is a problem with the design and engineering of the car and it is very costly to fix. The problem will continue to occur since the manufacturer refuses to find a permanent solution to the issue. It is related to the placement of the unit and it is affected by the environment and corrodes.
While driving the car it would pop up a message saying “engine power reduced”. Today while driving it home it popped up with a message saying “starting disabled, service throttle” and then the car wouldn’t drive and I had to pull over on the side of the road. For months now when I drive and accelerate at times the car would almost grind. I believe it has to do with the traction control or the transmission.

Unknown the check engine light comes on supposedly is the active shutter on the front is malfunctioning.
Both taillights are leaking through a gasket in the taillights causing pooling of water in the majority of the trunk and through two layers of carpet. This is causing mold to grow in trunk.
I continuously have water leaking into the trunk of my 2017 Chevrolet Impala, specifically the spare tire compartment. I noticed through research that the issue has been recalled for select years, but not my vehicle year. If the issue is a known defect, this should be covered by the vehicle manufacturer. I am constantly having large amounts of water after rain and it is causing a moldy smell. I try to scoop water and then dry the area, however this is a repeat issue.
Side detection system failures. Repaired side detection systems 2 times ( 2017/2018 and again in 2020) both times gm reimbursed for repairs under technical bulletin. Repairs were supposed to be using “redesigned” parts to prevent issue from reoccurring. Side detection system requires service again in February 2023. That is 3 times this failure has occurred in 8 years of owning this car. I have been told not too drive this vehicle with this issue as more serious issues can happen - dashboard failure, engine issues, etc. Which can cause serious issues while driving. Even though gm extended the warranty for this, it doesn’t seem fair that I have to continue to pay repairs for a defective system …. . Especially when I cannot drive for safety reasons. If this were just cosmetic, not that bad an issue. But this is a safety concern.
Continue headlight conversation.
Side detection system is failed. Used for blind spots and I know this can cause more issues with car.
The stability track light is on and abs. The sensor in the hubs go out even in new hubs. When I'm pulling out onto the road the traction light comes on an makes a grinding noise and the power goes down . I was told it was the stability track chain and the sensor in my right hub.
The car shuts off while driving. Loose power steering hazardous while turning at higher speeds. . . Dangerous for. Vehicles in front or back . The car also jumps or jolts when driving. And looses power causing severe loss of control especially when icy or snow road conditions.
