Two problems related to brake pedal and linkage have been reported for the 2001 Chevrolet Silverado. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The brake pedal is too low to the floorboard. Vehicle was taken to the dealer on 5/1/2003 ,5th time, and the pedal was still too low. Consumer has also contacted the bbb.
When pressing the brake to stop nothing happens right away. Then the pedal ticks (studders) goes close to the floor and lock up.
