The front end was replaced twice from a clanking noise, and the vehicle was serviced no less than twenty times. Vehicle was taken to another dealer, and it was discovered the transmission bolts were loose. The clanking sound was gone.
Transmission clunks when decelerating and accelerating from stop. Spline lubed first time and reduced loudness of clunk but within 300 miles noise was back.
Transmission bangs into second gear and a loud clunking sound is heard,took vehicle back to dealers 3 times and was told that this is normal condition for the vehicle and no repairs are to be made also that the noise is worse on the four wheel drive models. Ts.
There is a problem with transmission. Vehicle has trouble moving at times. Also, a loud noise comes from transimission when consumer is driving. Contacted dealer, and dealer was not willing to do anything.

Consumer was in traffic and without prior warning heard a thumping noise coming from front end of vehicle. Then, vehicle shutoff. Vehicle was towed. Dealership mechanic told consumer that he needed to replace transmission.
Transmission has lost reverse second and fourth gears with no prior problems of noise or motion. Fail to understand how all this can break down so fast and easy.
Manual transmission locked in gear. Emerg. Brk. Cable will not adjust. Abs module has noise. Stopped by removing fuse, abs feature not functioning. Trans failed in Feb. 2003 @ 65k miles. Repair made by valencia Chevrolet in valencia calif. Cost was handled by a extended service warranty. Cost to me after a lot of heated negotiation was 85. 00. The agency wanted me to authorize a new trans. And clutch. Cost: 3600. 00 the emergency brake cable failed @21k miles in 2001, the abs module failed @42k miles. In 2002. Neither brake item has been repaired. Valencia Chevrolet wants 2300. 00 to repair the abs problem, no quote to repair brake cable.

Consumer was traveling on highway and heard a noise. Was able to pull over to shoulders. Vehicle was towed to dealership, and mechanic told him that transmission needed to be replaced.
When driving at any speed the steering wheel will go from different lanes, and there is vibration wihtin the steering wheel. Glove compartment won't close all the way, and the engine check light won't go off. Also, there is a knocking noise coming from the transmission when shfiting from 3rd to 4th gear vehicle had been into the shop two times, and the dealer can't determine the cause.

Abs: while braking over semi-rough/rough surface, brakes seem to slip or disengage, causing extreme vibration. Transmission: while pulling trailer or accelerating uphill, excessive vibration occurs. Steering: while speeds 45 mph+, moderate vibration in front-end and sterring column. Suspension: while tiurning wheels maximum left or right, or driving over uneven surfaces, hear a clicking noise in front-end. Rear window: latch does not securely tighten window causing excessive wind noise.
The transmission experiences a constant noise in 2nd gear and 3rd, unable to be fixed.
