Side/window Air Bag Problems of Chevrolet Suburban - part 2

: the contact stated while driving 10 mph another vehicle struck the contact in the side at about 40 mph. The vehicle turned sideways in an intersection and the side impact airbags did not deploy. The contact and driver of the other vehicle, while wearing seat belts, sustained injuries. The contact sustained neck/left shoulder, back,knees, and lower leg injuries, and was taken by ambulance to a local hospital where she was treated and released. The police took a report at the scene. The vehicle was totaled by the insurance agency. The manufacturer inspected the vehicle and determined the severity of the accident did not warrant side impact airbag deployment.

On Sunday, March 20, 2005, a distracted driver failed to notice a red traffic light and slammed into my 2002 Suburban at 40-45 mph as I drove through an intersection in my hometown. My vehicle took a direct, ferocious hit on the driver's-side front door, but the side-impact air bag did not deploy.

When the consumer was hit at 30 mph, the side air bags did not deploy. There were minor injuries. The consumer had the vehicle towed. Please provide more information.

While driving at 45 mph vehicle was forced off of the road into oncoming traffic. Consumer swerved to avoid a head on collision with another vehicle. This action caused the vehicle to crash through a fence, run into a ditch, and collide head on with an oak tree. Seat belts were worn, but at the time of the impact, the latch came apart. Vehicle was equipped with front and side air air bags. Upon impact, they did not deploy. Consumer's knee was broken, and he suffered a concussion. Police and medical help did arrive on the scene. Manufacturer and the dealer have been notified of the incident.

While driving about any mph in cold wheather air bag light will come on. Had taken vehicle to dealer, and they found out that driver's side sensor was defective, wich was repaired. Please provide more information.

When traveling 20 mph upon avoiding hitting a patch of ice consumer therefore depressed the brake pedal when the driver side air bag deployed forcing the occupant arms and hands to be forced off the steering wheel causing loss of vehicle control resulting in an accident. Consumer has contacted the dealer, dealer states due to dislocation of the air bag sensors.
